Grown in Italy, that is why I bought them.

Q: How much do these make once rehydrated? I have recipet calling for 8 oz of fresh mushrooms.

I would not substitute reconstituted dried mushrooms for fresh. Totally different flavors, texture, etc.

Q: Does it contain just the caps or does it have the stems also ?

It has both the stems and caps. They work well.
