Very easy install - thanks to the people that added videos in the reviews! The hardest part was to push in the fuse, which felt like it wouldn’t fit right, but it eventually worked. You have to give it a good push!Auto start/stop is a scam and making it mandatory is one of the worst things done to the auto industry. It should be eliminated, but until then, this will do!

It's been almost 8 months and it has worked flawlessly every time on my Forester. Great product. I especially love the ease of installation - I watched a video by another reviewer and did not take off the switch. Once you understand where the switch in question is, it's very easy to reach in from the fuse door to unplug and plug a few things from the back and it's all done in less than 5 minutes.

This is a great product. So frustrated that it is even requiredHardest part of the install was removing the button panel. Had a slight issue getting it to go into the fuse port but I think I was angled just a bit low. Lined it up again straight and it went right in.Works great. After about 10 second after turning the car on, this kicked in and turned off the auto stop. YEA!

I received this item today and proceeded to install it on my 2023 Subaru Forester Limited. It did not come with any instructions (just a leaflet in Chinese), but I had readreviews taking about the installation and watching an installation video.The initial installation didnt go as smoothly as hoped. I was unable to reach in through the fuse box opening to disconnect the required plug, so I tried using the trim tool to pry the switch panel out, but was unsuccessful -- I didn't really have any idea where to start with the trim tool. So then I went back to unsuccesfully try to get the plug off by reaching through the fuse box opening. Finally, I went back to using the trim tool and jammed it with much force at the top middle area of the switch panel -- suddenly I heard a pop and the left side of the panel had popped out -- it then was easy to pull the panel out and access the switches on the back. I removed the plug (needed a small screwdriver to hold the plugs latching mechanism open) and plugged in the new unit. The fuse box had an empty poision on the lower right corner that I used. The switch panel very easily popped back in securely. so -- a 15minute installation took me over an hour.Took the car for a test spin and it worked like a champ -- no morestart/stop. It works so good, I've ordered one for my wife's 2020 Subaru Crosstrek.ADDED INFO:I received the item for my wife's 2020 Crosstrek yesterday and installed it in about 10 minutes. It goes quick once you know how to pop the switch panel out. I used the provided trim tool (the wide end) and pushed it into the bottom middle seam of the switch panel and then pulled the tool out. Next I pushed the tool into the top middle seam with a lot of force and the panel popped right out. The panel is latched at the top and bottom -- the tool apparently loosens the bottom latch and then pops the panel free when you use it on the top latch.The part works just as well in the Crosstrek as it does in my Forester.

This thing does what it says. I cant believe the factory didn't include this. It was easy to install and almost 2 years later, it's working great. Definitely recommend.

Product does work! I thought it wasn't working but it does have a slight delay after starting the car and then it turns the Start/Stop function off.

This was super easy to install, took less than 5 minutes.I have noticed that it doesn’t ALWAYS work, I’d say it functions properly 85% of the time. I am still trying to determine whether it is something I am doing wrong or a fault of the product, but I am pretty pleased with it overall.

Woked on 2020 Crosstrek. Fuse fit was a little tight but went in with slow gentle wiggling.
