My issue with making flying geese blocks was making a whole bunch of them and having them match perfectly.The blocks I made would meaure up accurately individually but when put together the points would be off by the tiniest smidgen meaning they wouldn't perfectly match.So, I'd avoid quilt patterns that used flying geese blocks unless the flying geese were not in a configuration where you could actually tell they didn't match.This ruler actually fixed that problem for me, making matching flying geese blocks, so I no longer detest making them.The perfectionist in me finds it irritating I couldn't do that on my own without this ruler though, lol.

As a beginner quilter, this tool was very easy to use and guaranteed exact measurements for my quilt blocks. I was very happy to see how well it worked. Great buy

I just started a new quilt with lots of flying geese. I've done them before, but in small quantities. They have always been a source of irritation to get them right. This Creative Grids tool and the way of doing 4 at a time has saved my sanity. It truly creates the perfect flying geese and is very easy to use. What a game changer! If you make flying geese in a quilt, this will make it enjoyable!

Great ruler for making multiple sizes of flying geese blocks. Easy to use, it has multiple markings that are clearly labeled for different sizes along with sizes of squares needed on the ruler itself. The rough gripping side really helps hold it in place when cutting the fabric.I was having trouble making them with my traditional rulers and decided I needed help for the Quilt of Valor I was starting on. Then I went on vacation and couldn’t find it when I returned so I made some the frustrating way. Fortunately found it again so much happier and appreciative.

My flying geese are PERFECT now!I just took my quilt into the long arm quilter and she was looking at my flying geese she talked about how perfect they were! I was so excited to hear this as this was about my 8-9th quilt to make, she said she couldn’t believe it said she’s been quilting for 3-4 years and her flying geese didn’t look that good! So I was just ecstatic!

The main thing they should learn is how great the ruler is for accuracy

I love Creative grids this is a very well made ruler and it serves lots of purposes I have it to use for trimming flying geese and I use it all the time it's probably my fourth most used ruler. I recommend it highly!

This flying geese tool is the best one I have ever used! It makes creating flying geese so easy and they come out the perfect size! And, I love how many sizes can be made with the tool! The quilt I am currently making requires many flying geese to be made and I was dreading it, but no more! It is actually a fun experience. Thank you Creative Grids for making such a wonderful tool!
