I am using this for my guinea pig. I had this previously prescribed to him by a vet to improve his poops. He continued to have issues with abnormally shaped poops. I have given this to him again, and it seemed to be working now. His poops are going back to normal.

Over the years, I’ve used Bene-Bac to help maintain the gut flora in my bunnies’ systems when antibiotics were prescribed. Of course, it’s a matter of personal taste but my bunnies loved it! The probiotic comes in a tube with a very simple design for administering (plunger is notched and dispenses the right amount per click). Bene-Bac is a thick yellow paste. I gave the Bene-Bac 8-10 hours after the antibiotics and the bunnies gobbled it right up. I spaced the timing so the probiotics & antibiotics don’t cancel each other out. It’s available without a prescription and very reasonably priced. I consider it “insurance” for my pets in case the antibiotics upset their systems. I’ve been pleased with the results (i.e. no gut issues during antibiotics treatment). I would recommend this product.

My guinea pig has had soft poop for weeks now. I think because I had to change her hay, as the kind she used to get was discontinued. I took her off all fruits and vegetables, and was giving her Oxbow Digestive tabs and Vitamin C tabs, and nothing worked. Finally, I found a YouTube video where the person recommended Bene-Bac in addition to all the other things I was doing. After just two days of giving her this, her poops are back to normal again. And, it's very easy to give to her, because she loves the taste and just takes it right off my finger. I will probably keep giving her this once a week now, just to be safe. But, I'm so happy, because my next step was going to be taking her to the vet. So, this product has saved me a lot of money in vet bills!
