Perfect!
Liked this kitty house so much, I ordered a second one. First, components are well made and sturdy. Easy assembly with wide Velcro strips. Roof separate piece. The interior mattress is covered in a soft fur fabric. There is a doorway with a clear plastic cover and a covered window on each end. These are for my feral kittys and will go on a covered porch. Very satisfied!

Easy!!!
Very spacious for 2 regular size cats... Maybe enough room for a very large cat. The set up is so simple no need for instructions.... But they are in there just in case lol! It's practically water resistant fabric over sturdy cardboard. The interior has an imitation fleece material and some padding for kitty comfort! The plastic doors (heavy clear plastic) was off-putting for my cats at first. But they are strays. I bought this for a hideout for the strays to stay dry for this winters rain. It comes with grass spikes if you need it anchored. I hope it holds up... It will be on a covered porch so it should. Will report back..... OVER AND OUT! 😉

A cute outside house for cats. However, it could be better
MIU Color Outdoor Cat House is a cute house for cats who don't have ability to get in the house, out of the weather. It is easy enough to construct. There is a somewhat padded interior mat, but I also purchased an additional "Furhaven ThermaNAP Self-Warming Cat Bed" mat to give more warmth. One key issue that I see is: the roof overhangs are very small and don't offer adequate protection from inclement weather. It often rains very hard here, with winds blowing wildly at times.I gave the kitty house a test run for two days. Part of the time it was lightly raining, and the inside of the house and the warm bed mats got wet near the door. So, I would suggest making better roof overhang. And there needs to be some two-inch high legs to attach to the bottom of the house to lift it up off the ground if it's not used on a porch or patio of some kind. For introduction to the house, I secured the door flap up, but still couldn't get the homeless neighborhood stray who hangs out around here to go into the house by the door - even with force. So, I removed half the roof and set him in there. He is a big cat, but he had room enough to move around a little bit and to comfortably lay down. He stayed only a couple minutes, then went on his way and I secured the roof back down before it started to rain. It was after this that I noticed the self-warming mat was wet near the door.I was hoping to have some good success with the house, as there are a couple more feral cats that come around, and don't have a place to get out of the weather. If they would use them, I wanted to get a couple more kitty houses and place them on a side of our house that is more protected from wind and rain.Poor kitties. They need some secure place to go to be safe, warm and dry.

PERFECT FOR WINTER OUTDOOR PROTECTION
Quick & easy to put together & now just waiting for outside feral kitty to make it his home. I do have it elevated a little bit & in a protected area from wind & rain although it appears very durable if I did not have a sheltered area. I consider it a Great Purchase.

OK Cat Shelter
I have a cat who is indoor/outdoor, but refuses to stay inside at night. We try to keep her inside in cold weather, but she will meow all night until you let her out. Worried about her being cold in the winter I purchased this cat house. So far, after about 2 weeks, she has not went inside it once. I left the plastic door off for her to get used to it, and placed in on the front patio where she likes to lounge, but it has made no difference. Not sure why. Also, when the cat house arrived I noticed the claims on weather protection, water proof and wind resistant, are most likely not true. It is very lite, made up of fabric covering thin plastic or cardboard. The instruction say to anchor it with the strap and cover it with a plastic bag. The strap is a small stretchy loop sewn to it. Not sure how you would anchor it with that. I put the house on a covered patio and anchored it to a bench with a bungie chord. Otherwise it would surely blow away in a moderate wind.Overall, this is a ok lite weight cat house that was easy to assemble. It has a nice pillow inside. and probably would make for nice indoor cat house, or outdoor in climates that are not too extreme. That is if your cat will go inside it, and you have a covered area to place it.

Not perfect, but perfect for the price. Allows us to pretend we don't have a cat.
There's a cat in the neighborhood that has basically become our cat now... but we pretend like it's not and don't keep it in the house (and we shoo it out when it comes in anyway)... but the kids love it and we wanted it to have a shelter, so we bought this. She didn't like it at first, but after putting some food in a bowl in it for her, she eventually realized that it protects her from the elements and is a good place to stay - as long as she's not able to sneak in the garage when we're coming in in the evening - which she does whenever she can. That said, she's used it in the freezing snow when we didn't have the heart to let her in the garage on purpose. I'm sure she'll use it on hot days in the summer. We don't really do anything with it - rain or shine. Yeah, it gets wet, but it doesn't seem to mold - which is great. Low maintenance. If we do need to clean it ever, the top comes off easy. The bad news:We also live next to a field with mice and as a thank you for our hospitality, the cat gifts us some of the best parts of the mouse guts - because it doesn't understand that we don't eat mouse guts. Oh well. Again, the kids like her and she's been good at biting our son just the right amount to teach him to not be mean to animals - which is something he needs to learn.
