An Inspector Calls. (Acting Edition for Theater Productions)

I had to get this for her Drama class elective in 6th grade middle school. Its a really quick and easy read. She loved it so much she is making me read it too. She says that even though you think you know whats gonna happen there are twists to the plot!

Enjoyed the book. It arrived so I could study it with my granddaughter.

The script is just what I wanted.

This play by J.B. Priestley is five out of five stars. It's a brilliantly subtle, but gut-punching story. The characters are all three-dimensional. The ending will leave you puzzled in the best way possible. Priestley is a master playwright who's not well known anymore these days. And if he is, it's only because of this play. Shame. My only complaint with the Dramatist Play Service edition is that the print is really small, smaller than most of their other play scripts, and feels squashed onto the pages. Because of these things, it might make it harderr to read for some people. Great play, decent edition.
