Her words are touching, warm, comforting, and from a place of understanding. If you are sitting with a sympathy card in front of you, and you don’t know what to say, send a copy of this book instead. The recipient will be eternally grateful on those nights where grief if their only companion.

I bought this for a friend who had just lost her sister to cancer and knew she was a Donna Ashworth fan. I read it and the poems are truly beautiful. (I’m not really into poetry) The healing words are totally appropriate during a time of deep grief and sadness.I’ve just ordered all the books for my own reading and feel sure they will help me find the right words to say to a friend in need.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who had recently been bereaved, but both of us enjoyed it. The poems are simple but meaningful, touching and insightful, and they cover the whole gamut of loss and grief, so there is something in there for everyone. Now I need a copy for me!
