This book completely touched my heart and soul. I found great comfort in reading the poems. So true to what grief is like.

The book is in excellent condition (not direct from Amazon). The content is wonderful, I've cried my way through each poem. A very perceptive viewpoint of losing a loved one. Donna Ashworth has a wonderful way with words, which totally resonate with me.

I bought this book for my Mother in Law following the death of dad in law. It was such a lovely book with soothing and beautiful words that I bought another for myself. Thankyou Donna! I now have all your books and have just had your latest one delivered!

I lost my daughter and have been finding it hard to get comfort in any of the usual well meant but of repeated words. This has some very relevant, to me, words. I would recommend for anyone suffering a loss.

This is such a comforting book to have to hand when you are grieving. Donna's poetry speaks to one's heart and soul and she captures grief like no other. Most times, you cannot express your grief but Donna is able to express it for you and bring it to light. In that way, it helps you to heal because you know you are not alone. I bought 2 as gifts :)

Donna is an angel on Earth - I genuinely believe this - who brings light, compassion and healing.This book encompasses all this, because this is what "Loss" does: it brings healing.I found myself in these poems and, having lost my mother, I felt seen, I felt my feelings were validated, I felt like Donna put in words what I was feeling. There is healing in the common humanity of grief; we all have - sadly - gone through grief, some us are still in the initial burning moments. Grief will never go away, but Donna helps us re-frame it a little bit, gives us permission to feel and in doing so it feels like a healing balm on a painful scar.I highly recommend Loss to anyone.
