Thanks for your question. In some of our tea blends we us flavorings that are made in a laboratory so that they taste and smell like the natural flavor - in this case Passion Fruit. Artificial flavorings are used in some cases either because the cost of natural flavorings is prohibitive, or the natural fruit is very seasonal/in short supply. All of our ingredients (natural and artificial) are compliant with FDA guidelines and safe to consume. Hope this answers your question.

The package does not disclose caffeine content. However, it is black tea with natural and artificial flavors, so I think it is safe to assume there is caffeine in the tea.

Is this tea bags or loose tea for the single box?

it's 3-4 single bags of loose tea. Really good for the Mr. Coffee tea maker. But to be honest, a better tea is the Paradise Tropical Tea.CM is good, but the Paradise lasts a little longer.
