I didn’t have high expectations and was pleasantly surprised. This Protein 4 Oats powder is very good, mixes well and is a great source of protein. It’s a great way to add protein to oatmeal when you just don’t feel like a shake or eggs at breakfast time.

This adds to your oatmeal. I just added a ¼ of a cup and it has a great taste.

FLAVOR: Peanut butter and honey.This tastes really awful. I bought this to add variety to meet my protein intake. On busy days I used to drink 6 protein shakes (6 * 30g = 150 grams protein per day). I got bored of drinking protein shakes. Hence, got this to add to my morning protein intake. Tried it with Trader joe's rolled oats with 2% milk and full fat milk. In both cases, I had to close my nose and gulp this thing down. You need a whisk to mix this properly to avoid lumps.OVERALL: If you want to experiment go for it, not sure if you would like that artificial taste. My personal opinion is that I am not buying this again. I threw the rest of the pack because it was really disgusting.

I got this because I was trying to get another source of protein into my diet. This powder is pretty good. Make sure to really stir it in; otherwise it will have a “powder-y” feel. I first make a 1/2 cup of oatmeal, then add this powder — but it is VERY sweet, so you might want to do a little less than they recommend - unless you like your oatmeal really sweet. I just do a little less and the oatmeal is fine. It’s a great way to make your boring oatmeal into a meal that will contribute to the health of your body and give you a LOT more protein!
