Excellent TV for the Price
We bought this TV as a replacement for our 40in Roku TV which has been acting up. We've only ever had TVs with a Roku and Roku TVs, so moving to a Google TV was new. We weren't planning on going much larger than 45 inches, but this 55 inch was at a great price, so we dove in. Compared to our other 55in TV, this one seems heavier and a bit bulkier, though it's not excessive.I don't know a ton about all the technical specifications, but so far with this TV seems like a great mid-tier option at a fantastic price point for a 55in 4K TV. It is not the "best of the best", sound quality is about as "meh" as you can expect from any TV speakers and there is a weird bass-y sound resonance - however, sound is better than our previous TV. The remote is excellent. The remote is quick to respond and easy to use, backlit so it can be seen in the dark (HUGE plus!) includes a button for voice control, and works without direct line-of-sight. This is a big deal to us for our bedroom TV, and TV marketing never seems to mention the remote. I have returned TVs because they had a terrible remote. Overall we are very impressed with the TV for the price we paid. It's also nice having a hands-free Google Assistant built into the TV that works without the TV being on, for voice control of our smart lights.I have used the FireTV interface sparingly and the Samsung and Roku Smart TV systems extensively. This is my first experience with Google TV and I am very happy with it. The only apps I miss from the Roku TV are the Comcast Xfinity Stream app and the Roku app which provides Roku original content. These aren't huge losses as the direct apps from the channels we watch (HGTV, ABC, Peacock (NBC), Fox) are available. However, this is a minus of Google TV and not this specific TV unit. I could always buy a Roku stick if I really need these apps. The Google TV interface is amazing, curating all our services on the home screen in a cohesive non-annoying way. I really like the ability to have profiles on the TV itself for the kids as well, with only the apps we've added for them.I haven't noticed any issues with the image. It's clear, clean - meets and exceeds all our needs and expectations. It's almost too bright sometimes, which is a good problem to have and easy to fix. The room it's in is darker most of the time, so our picture quality is great.

UPDATED: 120hz verified! Fantastic and super bright picture!
UPDATE:This TV does definitely do 120hz. You’ll need to enable it though, as others have stated, by utilizing the menu option for HDMI format and selecting the enhanced format. I was fortunate to be able to purchase a PS5 and tested this immediately. See attached pic!Original review: This new Hisense 85” tv replaced an old Samsung 50” plasma. The upgrade from 1080p to 4K was long overdue. This Hisense offers a great picture quality that now complements the surround sound system.I was able to wall mount this and open up the top shelf of the entertainment stand to rearrange the components. I have everything running through the AV receiver and a single HDMI cable running to the television. The tv has two handles attached on the back which were a huge help when lifting it to attach to the wall mount bracket. So far I’ve rewatched episodes of Our Planet (see pics), The Matrix on 4K UHD disc, and some MotoGP races. The picture is outstanding and the motion doesn’t seem to have any issues.I haven’t sat down to fine tune any of the picture settings. This is just straight out of the box and it’s fantastic.Looking forward to family movie nights and possibly picking up a PS5 to check out the latest generation gaming.Overall highly recommend this tv. Actually considering getting another 1 (55”) for the bedroom.

Vibrant Colors and Quality
I've never purchased a TV brand other than the leading competitors, but the price for a 55' TV was too good to pass up on.When I got the package, there was a few minor holes here and there, but the TV did not seem to suffer any damage. The TV itself was super easy to install. All it comes with are two stands, a remote, and 2 AAA batteries. The stand/legs are screwed in through a Phillip screw. The interface within the TV is very pleasant and easy to navigate. Turning on the TV is quick as well, taking around 1-2 seconds to turn on. I never personally used Google TV before, but it is a great additional feature to have. Along with Google TV, it also has built in Chromecast, and allows me to display my laptop screen wirelessly, a huge plus!!! Using the TV for a couple of weeks so far, the display exceeded my expectations. The colors are vibrant and having a 55' screen in my bedroom has been a game changer. Along with the imaging, the sound is great! It is super loud and has a bass to it.As of now, I haven't seen any downsides of the TV worth mentioning. This TV has reached above my expectations and I hope to see this company continue in the future. I would highly recommend this as an alternative to other brands

"wow factor " at a "your kidding its that cheap" price..
wow, this tv, will rival tvs twice the price.. i got this for my g/f. as her tv, was still only HD, not big HD, but, hd, and years old,..she didnt Want one this big, hers was 55" and thought it was fine.when we set this up, and she saw the picture, she was blown away. and i hadnt even fined tuned it yet.straight out of the box, it wowed her..its a great picture, a lot of tweaks you can do to refine it to your tastes..it has plenty of HDMI inputs, cable input, ethernet cable...set up was quick, and really...this is an EASY "recommended buy"..i would buy another for myself in a heartbeat, if i could make an excuse to spend the money.. lol !small edit...WiFi connection just stopped working.. that is.. troublesome, given how little this tv is actually used.ethernet connects fine, but, WiFi shows its connected, and, shows NO Internet connection at the same time ( 2 different locations with conflicting info on your screen)..unfortunately i didnt buy an extended warranty.. least i cant find it if i did..so stuck with a"Not so smart" tv that should last years.. not a VERY Limited year of low use.. bought this as a gift for someone no less.. so very disappointed something like WiFi should go bad..
