That's the best book it's emotional and heart warming and teach you alot

This book felt like a hug so warm it reminded me of the time I last felt it when I read 'Before the coffee gets cold' by Toshikazu Kawaguchi.I mainly purchased this book to lighten the weight of my heart since I read 'My year of rest and relaxation' prior to this which was quite heavy on me.I have to say this book did it's job in easing my mind :)I really loved the art in this book,one of which I have posted here.I love how every art represent the cat and its owner,I also love how before the beginning of every chapter there's a silhouette of a cat,it's really cute (see third picture)I also am glad that the hardcover version of this book is affordable because the cover is adorable,front AND back!!!! The quality of the paper is pretty good, I'm guessing it's from the real penguin house.It gave me the serotonin I needed,do give it a try :)

I finished the book in one sitting and it was worth it. Unlike other Makoto Shinkai's works this is not a romantic story , yet it does contains romantic elements. It's more like a slice of life .One must do give it a try if you are looking for something quick and not to complex to read.

Paperback quality is good. Very simple and nice book.

I expected a little more depth in the stories and the relationships projected between a human and cat. The personalities didn’t come out that well. Storytelling format was refreshing but stories weren’t gripping. I didn’t feel like finishing the book, kept just hanging on it once a while. The other recent cat-or not books are rather interesting, especially the Dalai Lama cat series!

Book for my wife, she love it. Suggested to animal lovers. 👍

Something you can read without too much thought. I wanted to read something light after a heavy reading and this book definitely reset my mind. Can be finished in one sitting with three green teas.

I am giving 3 stars because I had to exchange the book and get another one as the earlier book came with damaged dust jacket on the corners. The exchanged one is in good condition.The packaging could have been better.
