It works !!!!!
This stuff is great ! it actually works . I used to buy Sakrete brand and loved it but can get it anymore. This works as described and is a superior product for my patio pavers.

It does what it's supposed to do
The idea behind polymeric sand is that after it is "activated" (by spraying with water and subsequently drying) it is supposed to stay in place between the pavers. That is, the grains of sand lock together and don't wash away during rainy weather or in heavy winds. I've used other sands in the past with mostly disappointing results. This product is extraordinary. It's very easy to apply: throw it onto your driveway, sweep it around so that it fills all of the gaps in your pavers, sweep off the excess sand, and apply a brief shower of water. After 24 hours (roughly) it's a finished product, with the sand locked in place. My driveway is about 25' x 40' and the pavers have 1/16" to 1/4" gaps between them. Essentially all of the original sand was gone because the contractor apparently just used regular sand. To sand my driveway, I used about 35 lbs out of the 50 lb bag. If I need to re-sand in the future, I'll be looking for this product again.

Worked well-
This worked very well., however, one needs to be mindful that you get enough water on it. I purchased two bags and have a third coming today (I do driveway pressure washing, sealing, and stain-sealing, and along with that have customers who need to have pavers re-set with polymeric sand.) There were no 'guides' as promised, just the bags of material) So I called to touch base with tech support. The tech said, "30 feet, 30 seconds of rain like water from a hose.Perhaps I didn't get that 30-second part right as the next morning after installing it in the afternoon the day before, it was not rock hard. It was semi-hard. You could push it in with a finger. I thought I'd see how it was the next morning. As it turned out, we had a lot of rain that night. When I went over the following day in the mid-afternoon, I discovered it was rock-hard solid! Was it the rain that tweaked it? Was it that it just needed an extra 24-36 hours? I dunno, but I'd encourage you to make sure you get it wet enough the first go at it. I'll be applying paver sealer from Foundation Armor to this project and it will look great and hold up for several years easily w/o needing reapplication.I have another customer project coming up next week and I'll definitely buy slate gray for that one and make sure to apply enough water until it stops absorbing it. So all in all, a great product.

Absolutely the best polymeric sand I have ever used
The sand pours cleanly and when water is correctly applied, it hardens with quite a strong bond, even in a deeper solid 1" gap. I used the bag and there was enough to fill in the gap around my entire inground pool between the coping tiles and the pool itself. Even though this is a wet environment, the sand holds firm. AAA+++.

This polymeric sand is worth the price if you want to prevent weeds and have a lasting finish
I just got done spreading this product across ~1,000 sq fr of pavers and it gave absolutely 0 issues. The grain size is small enough to fit into 1/4 gaps and they were not clumped up in the bag. The sand hardens quickly once watered and resists excessive moment while watering. The finished product did not leave a grainy texture on the pavers and no hazing. After a few hours, the sand is rock hard.

Doesn't hold
This product was fine to start, for about 2 weeks. It set up well and I was telling others that it was worth the extra spend. Fast forward 2 weeks and 2 rainstorms later and it has almost completely washed out. For nearly triple the price of basic polymeric sand from a big box store, you'd expect an equal ratio of increased performance. I'd even settle for ANY better. Save your money and accept that polymeric sand is an arduous perennial annoyance, and buy the stuff at a big box.

Not for do it yourself pavers
The intelligent sand worked well with the professionally installed paver. It only worked well after I applied a sealer on the top over the dry, cured sand. The do-it-yourself paver the intelligent sand is eroding from the joints. The joint spaces are inconsistent. The too wide and too narrow joints the sand is eroding the most, even after I sealed the pavers. I am looking for a grout that is rated for exterior use.
