The craftsmanship of the record weight exceeded my expectations. The bubble at the center/top is nice and easy to ready. Fortunately, I don’t move my stereo that much so I was pleased to see that it was centered correctly at the outset. The jury is still out if the record weight improves the sound or not, as some have claimed. I can see this could help to “flatten” a moderately warped disc. I would confidently recommend this for a direct-drive turntable.

I am a little disappointed in a hazziness that affects clearly seeing the leveling bubble. Either the fluid of the leveling bubble, the clarity of the plastic window, and/or that ambient lighting creates a diffused shadow around the bubble making it harder to read. I don't consider this a major problem as you really only have to use the feature any time you relocate the turntable. Never the less, it is a key feature of the product so I feel like that costs a star. The weight itself is absolutely beautiful and I am glad that I went with the Metallica finish instead of black.

Nice looking accessory for vinyl playing.Cannot vow for the real effect on improving sound reproduction.Useful alignment bubble in the middle of the top, easy to see.

This turntable weight is very effective at stabilizing older LPs. The weight of it did not affect the speed of the turntable, according to the strobe light. I didn't rate the sound quality because I just don't know although, it must improve if the LP is not doing a roller coaster as it spins.

The turntable weights are everything i expected them to be. So I’m very happy with the product.

The weight fits nicely and it’s nice looking as well with the black chrome finish. The bubble center however is not accurate. The protective foam pad underneath causes the bubble to be out of center. If it were accurate this would be nice for level adjustment of the turntable feet. Update: after sitting for a few days the pad has compressed and the bubble has found its center. I now give it 5 stars.
