great for tight spaces

Used at 1Gb/s, everything OK.

The cables are rated at 10 GbE but I'm only using them on a 1 GbE LAN, and they work fine at that speed. Needed the right angle feature to fit Ethernet jacks behind furniture. One of them had a connector on one end that seemed to snag in the jack. I discarded that cable; the rest were fine. Eventually replaced these with white right-angle cables because the spouse didn't like black.

After a series of problems caused by dodgy Ethernet cables that drop packets or cause connections to fall back to 100-megabit speeds (catastrophic for video production), I've resorted to using a Fluke tester on every cable that comes into my house.To be fair, these cables are short cables, so failures would be surprising unless someone failed to crimp the cable adequately, but I ran a test on them anyway just to be sure.I only bought two packages (four cables), which makes this testing not necessarily indicative of much. That said, I've seen failure rates as high as two out of three cables from some very-high-volume manufacturers, so it is somewhat meaningful. Anyway, all four cables passed several rounds of testing without issue.

If you have the SDS200 scanner, this is very useful. A normal cable will stick straight out across your desk, down would block the USB port, left would block the keypad, up would block squelch & volume knobs. The right angle is perfect because it neatly puts the cable exactly where you need it ... out of the way.
