Recommended Uses For Product | Before first use, remove all packaging, including the protective cover on the soleplate, and ensure the iron is unplugged. Set the steam switch to off and fill the water tank through the filling hole, tilting the iron vertically to avoid overfilling and leaks. We recommend using deionized, distilled, or demineralized water. Plug in the charging base and turn on the power; the charging base power light will illuminate. Place the iron on its heel on the base, ensuring the connectors align. When the power indicator light on the handle illuminates, the connection is made. Wait until the iron reaches the desired temperature before starting to iron, and throughout your ironing session, return the iron to the base every few seconds or whenever adjusting garments to maintain heat. Set the temperature dial to the desired level (see 'Temperature Guide'). The temperature indicator light will glow red while heating and turn green when ready. Allow the light to cycle red and green twice before starting. If needed, switch on the steam using the steam switch, which automatically adjusts the steam amount to the selected temperature. For stubborn creases, use the water spray button, pressing several times initially to draw water. For an extra steam burst on stubborn creases or heavy fabrics, press the steam boost button sparingly, not more than three times in succession for optimal steam quality. |

Great quality for price
We’ve been using this cordless iron basically every day since we bought it over a year ago. It’s durable and does take a bit of roughness and we allow our teens to also use as needed. Hasn’t given us any problems so far.

Best Iron ever
I originally bought this for my son, but I fell in love with it as soon as I tried it! The cordless design makes it so convenient—I can even iron my sheets right on the bed. It’s incredibly easy to use for shirts and dresses. Absolutely the best! I’m getting another one for myself."

Gets very hot, comfortable to use
After using this iron for 6 months, I’m very satisfied with it. It charges up very hot pretty quickly and holds the heat for a decent amount of time before needing recharging. I used to use another big name brand of cordless iron but after three that either started sparking, had pieces fall off or stopped steaming, decided to try a less expansive brand (this one). I get just as much ironing time, it has a nice pointed end for corners and a large sole plate that doesn’t seem to ever collect residue. I also like that it can be stood upright on its own if I need to reposition something, it doesn’t have to be on the base. My only minor complaint is that there is a learning curve on getting it back exactly right onto the recharging base. It’s very specific for the connection and took awhile for the muscle memory to consistently set it down correctly the first time.

I would not recommend this iron.
This iron is definitely not one I would recommend. It leaks like crazy and causes me to lose more time on my quilt. The steam function does not work properly, it steams while it is on the stand but does no steam while ironing. While the weight is great, the iron only stays hot for about 60 seconds and it takes more than that to reheat.

Large water tank but requires distilled water
I purchased this iron mainly because of its tapered nose and because of the quantity of water it holds. I am a quilter and press many, many seams. The tapered front end is so much handier than my previous iron with its somewhat blunt nose. This tapered nose presses open even tiny seams easily! And this iron holds a great deal of water so that one is not having to stop frequently to refill the iron. Love that feature! There is a sticker on the iron stating that distilled water is required, unlike many newer irons that can use common tap water.I weighed this iron against my former iron, which had no liquid in it. My new iron, about half full of water was lighter. This is a definite plus for someone who has had rotator cuff surgery!I have owned this purple iron about a month. I still like the color; it is something different than the usual gray and blue. The iron has functioned perfectly, and there has been no sputtering nor any dripping. However, I'm not overly fond of the 8-minute safety shut off because the iron frequently shuts off between my sewing needs and my ironing requirements. Alas, I shall just have to speed up, I guess.

Great Idea Disappointing results
I was so excited to receive my cordless iron. Unfortunately, this iron is not ready for the consumer market. The iron itself is pretty cool, lite weight, easy to handle, works effectively when hot. The problems is getting the iron hot!! The iron is supposed to set on a charging hot plate an when it reaches the designated temperature you start ironing. The problem is unless you move at really, really fast the iron cools down before you get one sleeve done. i had to recharge the iron 6 times in an effort to finish one shirt. 25 min per shirt. NOT A FAN

A workhorse
Love this iron. Works without issues, even for long hours. Glides over fabric when hot. Love the switch to set continuous steam, and it does what it should. Stays hot, heats quickly, waits a bit to turn itself to sleep (long enough). No issues with bits of anything in the steam holes (a pleasant suprise). And is only a bit too heavy when the water tank is completely full. But the water lasts a good while, so there's no reason to fill it so full.
