DuoClean System, WOW
I'm not being paid and I'm not running an ad for Shark, but man I have to say. WOW.Worth every penny. This IONFLex DuoClean cordless is the best vacuum we have ever owned. None of our Dyson's can compare to it. It picked up a lot more than our Dyson Animal vacuum did. We have slate tile floors and a few area rugs.and about 450 sq ft of carpet upstairs. The difference was like night and day. This new 2 roller system is the key to it all I think. Others may have more motor sucking power ( not Sure) ,but the 2 roller system makes up for any of that. The Ionflex Duoclean cordless has plenty of power to go with the DuoClean system. Dyson and others will be copying this system. It works that well. It picked up so much more dog hair than I ever thought was in our rugs. Yes we have 2 dogs and now we have no dog hair around us. After running our Dyson Animal vac ( Dyson makes a good vacuum) I ran the Ionflex behind it. It was as if I had not run the Dyson at all. Again it is that 2 roller system DuoClean that made the huge difference. The Ionflex is light weight making it easy to use as a hand held cordless. The battery runs for about 30 minutes unless I run it on high power . Then it only runs about 15 minutes. I have yet to find a reason to run it on high power it does just fine on the lower setting. If there is one con to this vacuum it is the canister could be a little bigger . It picks up so much it can fill it in one charge.I have not seen any long term reviews yet so only time will tell. Bottom line we are very happy with the Ionflex so far and hope it will last with no issues.

Feel like a cleaning Ninja! Outstanding purchase!
Excellent vacuum with great suction for a cordless vac. I have a Shark Rotator corded as my regular vacuum and it is a cleaning beast. It can suck a bowling ball through a garden hose. I was not expecting a cordless vac to have as much suction as a corded model, but this one does not disappoint. Having just returned a Tineco cordless vacuum for lack of suction and overheating issues, I really appreciated this one. The suction is good, the Duo Clean rollers grab every speck of dirt (except by the edges) and does a great job on everyday pick ups, which is what I bought it for. I don't understand the bad reviews over battery life. I have vacuumed my entire 1200 sq ft apartment with battery life to spare. I have birds and they are VERY messy. I vacuum up bird food the size of dry dog and cat food 3 times a day and have yet to need to do a second pass to pick any of it up. Not to mention copious amounts of bird dust and feather down. The dust cup has adequate capacity and is easy to clean. This Ion Flex is perfect for daily pick ups and was exactly what I was looking for. I love the flex wand that slides under furniture and cages and it folds nicely for storage. I was considering a Dyson V8 Animal but did not like the permanent battery because all Lithium ion Batteries have a lifespan and I would hate to get rid of a $500 vacuum cleaner when it needs a new battery when I can just buy a replacement battery in a couple of years. I purchased this model with 2 batteries, but one does the job on my tile floors and low - medium pile carpets. I love the brush roller cleaning garage with the slot for cutting hair off the roller. What a joy! Rarely have I been so impressed by a vacuum cleaner and both my Sharks exceeded my expectations. I love that the attachments fit both my shark vacuums interchangeably. I wasn't expecting that. Had I known, I would have gotten the cheaper model without attachments. Although this one comes with the allergy duster tool I didn't have. Live and learn. I vacuum 3 times per day and have yet to run the battery down completely. It doesn't have the suction of my large corded vac, but I save the big guns (the Rotator) for the big weekend clean. The cord is a huge pain in the butt so this fits my daily cleaning needs perfectly. And no, I am NOT a clean freak. I just walk barefoot all the time and hate having my feet impaled by bird food and splintered shards from chewed up wood toys. I will report back on this vacuum if I run into any issues down the line. So far I have only used for a week (21 times) and couldn't be happier about this purchase. It cleans like a champ!+++UPDATE++++After a month of using this vacuum 3 times per day. I love it more and more. I haven't used my corded vac in over 2 weeks.4 Month Update!I would marry this thing! Best purchase EVER!

So Long Dyson. Hello Shark!
I gave up on my Dyson Animal. It was time to try a Shark. I have two cordless Dyson's and a regular corded Dyson. The purple connector plastic piece broke off and I had to hold the motor and other side together just to vacuum. The Dyson cordless never picked up cat food around the bowls with the vacuum attachment. I cut my finger quite bad when pulling hair out of the vacuum canister on the metal piece. I had callous after callous on my finger from having to hold down the button to vacuum my home. I am so over Dyson and their ridiculous prices.Cons:1) Heavier than the Dyson cordless.2) A bit more bulky, but I'm getting used to it.3) I read it's supposed to be less noisy, but I think it's a high-pitch, nosier vacuum and all my pets are scared of it. With the Dyson, only some of my pets were scared when I ran it. I think it's the higher pitch noise. (They'll get used to it ;)Pros:1) Suction is WAY stronger than the Dyson cordless.2) I can fully get under my beds now with the way the Duo Flex bends.3) It picks up all the cat food around the bowl and larger items on the floor without my having to grab the long attachment and remove the vacuum.4) Having two batteries is cool. I honestly tried the higher power and the battery lasted like 10 minutes. So I tried the regular power and it did the same exact job and the battery lasted about 20-25 minutes.5) The canister appears smaller, but it honestly collected a lot of hair and dirt before I had to dump it. I would have made it a bit bigger, but it's fine.6) The on/off button is a DREAM! No more callouses on my fingers from holding any buttons down. Yippee. It's a solid base. Much higher quality product than the Dyson. It's made to last without all these thin, plastic pieces holding two pieces together.7) The strength and suction alone makes this well worth having over the Dyson, aside from all the other pluses.8) I charged both batteries fully before my first use. Then I used both batteries until they were drained in one use, because that's easy to do with all my animals (17 of them with my small zoo). Then, I am using one here and there and not charging it again until it's fully drained. Some people were complaining about that, but it's not a big deal since I always have a back up.I'd go for the Shark ION Flex 2x versus the Dyson. Sorry Dyson, it was time to say goodbye after my years of investing and you couldn't fix obvious issues for us after all we spent on your products. You're not the best anymore.
