My hair has texture ranging from 1B on top to 2B underneath and it looks a mess. Flat ironing does work but I didn't like it.This is perfect.1) Towel dry hair, put in normal products like root lifter or oils or treatments or whatever, then LET YOU HAIR AIR DRY UNTIL TOTALLY DRY (if you need to hurry things up, use a blow dryer on the "cool" or "cold shot" setting only).2) When hair is totally dry, brush through once with a regular brush to get out tangles.3) Then using your fingers to hold your hair away from your head and to straighten it out a bit with soft tension, use this brush to brush through.You don't need to be systemic. If you see some wavy/curly sections, grab those and brush through. You can brush through whole handfuls, not just tiny sections! Flip your head upside down and brush through, or make your part and brush your hair like you normally would.For my hair type, I can go from a hot mess of hair with 3-4 different tectures to everything being super straight in under 5 minutes, using the lowest setting (there are three settings).Also this brush heats up SUPER QUICKLY.Enjoy!

It works fine, though I don't love it. It's heavy and clunky. Hard to maneuver near the roots of my hair and I burned myself trying to figure out the best way to create tension so it would smooth my hair. Not really a quick alternative to a straight iron.

I have a wave thin hair and this product didn't work for me. It is heavy, leave my hair frizzy, and it hard to straightener the upper portion of my hair. Also, you could easily get burned by it. I tried to give it a chance, but it not woth it. I regret buying it. 👎

I have VERY thick, long, semi-curly (it's straight on the sides and ridiculous in the back) and it used to take me 30-40 minutes to dry my hair and then another 30-40 minutes to straighten it with a flat iron. Now I just let it dry overnight and use this straightening brush in the morning. It takes MAYBE 15 minutes to get my hair completely straight. The best part is it looks natural, not flat and lifeless like it does with the flat iron! I seriously LOVE this thing!

Because of the shape and offsetting weight of this product, it cannot flatten thick hair nor can it smooth hair.
