first off, let's qualify my ratings -Sound quality is OFF THE HOOK good, even compared to the earlier Kenwood model that I bought this one to replace (it served me well, but I wanted blue tooth instead of plug-and-cord). Highest score.Remote Control - says to d/l an ap and use your phone. doesn't seem like a great choice, so no stars.Ease of install - if you're replacing a stock stereo that came with your car, I'd say DON'T EVEN TRY. If you're replacing an aftermarket, you'd best be able to understand how to read a wiring diagram (download from autozone is helpful, then you cross-reference with the instructions. If you know what you're doing, you're fine (you'll need inline splices and a crimper tool). Three stars, because I wouldn't trust that someone without basic skills in wiring things up would have a decent time of it.

This is a very complex but really user friendly stereo. The amount of control you have for a multiple amp set up is unbelievable. No stereo will ever compare atleast not for 200$ or less unless it comes from kenwood. I had a x-898 prior and it was like equipment from late 90s compared to now. If you are not running multiple amps get the x305 . This the only 5v pre amp outputs on market. Being sold now for single din. You won't regret it.

I like this stereo very simple to work! Has a good sound output but I don’t necessarily appreciate the Skip buttons don’t feel all that tactile sort of wishing I spent a bit extra and got a double din

Excellent for power amp 4 ch. Separation is awesome. Used in mustang with headers, no problem, even sounds great at low volume. Great bang for the buck. Looks are greatcab change colors too. You will not be disappointed with it.

Llegó a tiempo, todo muy bien. Lo compré para reemplazar un modelo KDC del 2013 instalado en mi auto, lo que me sorprende es que el conector no sea el mismo, lo cual hizo demorar la instalación; debería ser un solo modelo de conector.La calidad de sonido mejoró a comparación del modelo anterior que tenía.Sin embargo, lo realmente incomodo de su funcionamiento es ALEXA, porque se activa en cualquier momento incluso cuando todo está en silencio. Esto interrumpe cualquier cosa que se esté reproduciendo en el equipo.En cuanto al bluetooth, se supone que intercambiar de dispositivo conectado es fácil, sin embargo, NO LO ES, muchas veces tengo que desconectar uno para que el otro pueda usarse.Me decepciona porque lo compré por las diferentes capacidades que se promociona pero lo único rescatable es la calidad de audio.

Kenwood makes a great quality product, and the excelon line of decks is no exception. This unit has great features, and if you are really into audio tuning, this thing goes far beyond my capabilities. (Don't be scared! They have a simple menu for us who don't know!), the Bluetooth capability is excellent.

Ive always purchased Kenwood stereos for as long as I can remember. Ive tried other brands but for some reason I always returned them and purchased a Kenwood. There's just something about the quality and the sound of a Kenwood stereo that I like.
