After a pretty serious foot surgery, I had a huge scar and went to therapy and the therapist used this tool on my skin to help with scarring and reduce inflammation. I found this on Amazon and it’s the exact tool that he used during therapy. I began using it at home to reduce my scarring reduce sensitivity, as well as reduce inflammation in my foot 2 1/2 months post operative. The swelling is completely reduced as well as scarring has become less sensitive my physical therapist believes it’s in part to my work with this on my foot at home who knew this tiny little thing would be so helpful.

I had this for a surgery years ago on my hands. And of course I misplaced over the years. I recently had foot surgery and asked my physical therapist if they had one. He had no clue what I was talking about. So I found it here and it has help with my scar tissue build up so much

I’ve had one of these before and loved it but I think it disappeared in a move. I was excited to see this available so I ordered it. Went to use it on my healed scar from surgery when ouch it felt like it was cutting into my skin. After investigating I found a seam with a sharp nub sticking out. Well that’s a big no on my tender skin. Poor quality control on this item. It’s too bad because the one I had years ago worked great.

IF I COULD LEAVE 0 STARS, I WOULD! Horrible product! It's a cheap tiny piece of plastic! You have got to be kidding me. Also, when you actually start rolling it over your skin, does NOTHING! It feels so cheap and the plastic rolling ball gets stuck!!! Now I have to waste my time going to wholefoods to return this.

I purchased this for scar massage from a surgically repaired finger. The scar was really bad, on the inside of my finger. This is so easy use and you can take it anywhere. I always use it while in the waiting room to see my Ot or my Doctor. I use it daily. This way you do not have to apply any lotion, which can be inconvenient at times. I still do massage with lotion also. This item works really well if you where a stockinette over the finger, which decreases sensitivity. I am very serious about my recovery. I am so glad I purchased this.

This nicely massages into scars the usual: vitamin E, coconut oil, cocoa butter, neosporin scar... helped a large, recent surgical scar flatten and stop stinging. Waited until doc said ok to use. Easy to hold, clean and roll without any fuss. Just tap ball onto whatever potion or use dry.

Studies show massaging newer scars can help reduce scar tissue. I bought this hoping it would help. It works but only barely.It's only about 5 inches and difficult to hold for long periods of time. The ball that's supposed to massage your skin sticks often so it'll just stop working. I have only used it about a dozen times and I'm scared it'll break soon.I would buy a different one for the money I spent...
