I love having a green lawn and keeping it trimmed meticulously. I am literally obsessed with my lawn and care for it. Recently our area has been in a drought and water restrictions have been placed. On the curb (which was always hard for my irrigation system to hit and where dogs LOVE to do their business) is where I tried first since there is where it took a beating. It looked amazing! I decided to then apply a lighter coat (a little more water in the next batch) to cover my front yard since it needed only a little help in some areas. It did cover most of it but saw this color was a little too dark (fairway) for my established lawn. I would probably recommend for a whole front needing the help and starting fresh. My next purchase will be the in between shade (premium light + dark) for my whole front and backyard. I feel you can start lighter and go darker with another application if needed. Be careful with the sprayer you purchase. If it leaks in any way, it will dye whatever it touches. I was able to wash away a few drip marks on my brick walkway when I added warm water to it. I couldn't get to the sidewalk area in time. I do recommend not using a hand pump sprayer if your lawn is large. I purchased an "electric" rechargeable sprayer which slightly leaked (and caused the drip marks). I also will apply the next batch on a cloudy day because I felt the sun messed slightly with me seeing the true color when applying.Overall an amazing product doing what it states. One last remark... I have a dog with white fur. I did keep her off of the lawn for more than the recommend drying time, 2 hrs (I waited 5) and her coat was still white! Get this product!! Worth every cent.

Needed to temporarily disguise a dead arborvitae that we will eventually replace but in the meantime it was an eyesore. Settled on this product after reviewing options - even studied their website and chatted with an online agent for a color recommendation. Bottom line, I bought the Premium grass product even though their agent recommended Leland Cyprus (which is not sold on Amazon at this time) because I was so excited to try this and didn't want to wait (thank you Prime).It was easy to do, took about 20 min. Used the 1 oz paint to 1 gallon water ratio and it took less than half that mix to cover my tree. As you can see (hopefully), it has just a wee bit too much of a blue tint to it to be totally realistic (so probably should have waited for Leyland Cyprus) but heck, no one is going to drive by my house and wonder "hmmm, that thriving tree looks a little bluish compared to the others". I am THRILLED with how it turned out, and I'm now offering to go paint any of my neighbors' dead trees because this was (is) so cool!Like other reviewers have said, this DOES spray everything in the vicinity. I covered a section of my house in plastic to make clean up easier, but the sprinkler pipe that was 4 feet away is now dotted with green paint, as are the 2 shrubs close by. I don't care... house was the only thing I was worried about.BTW in case anyone is thinking of opening this paint, mixing it with water, and prepping in the sprayer *inside* their house, THINK AGAIN. Ditto with clean up. Do everything outside, with gloves and a hat and clothes/shoes you don't care about. My front was covered in green dots when I was done (and there was barely a breeze...) as was my backside because I accidentally brushed up against the plastic covering my house. And funny how green paint magically transports itself EVERYWHERE. Easy to get off my skin with soap and water, at least.Also, I immediately cleaned out my sprayer (THAT took 10 min) using soap and a sponge, and have one little green stain, that's it.I'm assuming this is going to last for a few weeks until we're ready to replace the tree and if there's any problem with it doing so, I'll update my review. But for now, I highly recommend this product!!

We wanted to spruce up our crispy looking lawn so we tried this and it worked wonders! We have a good size yard and one bottle covered the whole front yard pretty evenly. We had comments about how good our lawn looked after using it. It has lasted over a month now and still looks good after rain and sun on it. Highly recommend!

Purchased due to over applying fungicide. States 8boz per 1 gallon. I would say the application rate is not like when you are applying other things such as herbicide or fungicides as those are per 1k sq ft etc. This is applied more like paint.... Sort of. I was worried it would come out neon green or something. Color comes out great. I should have applied a bit more generously than I did, but you can apply more if needed. But the cost per coverage is a troubling factor. Good product, but a bit high priced. I'll use it again, plan on doing a second application. Hind sight, I should have just used the whole bottle on my 4 gallon sprayer and it would have been better.

I made a shamrock template out of two sheets of oriented strand board. The green paint looks good contrasted with the dormant zoysia grass.

Used this on my back lawn in the peak of summer as the sun beats down for hours and hours on the grass, along with my dog peeing everywhere to create brown spots. This product works, theres no doubt - however - there is no way one gallon covers 10,000 sq ft., second, after watering a few times the days after- after cleaning up the sprinkler and hose, the bottom of my shoes and or feet get green tint on it , which is annoying and didn't know that would happen, so just be careful. Overall, solid product though if you're looking for a stop gap of a dry hot summer or dead grass.
