This book should be required reading for ALL
This book is amazing. The author captures the essence of what most people today are struggling with. Who are you, and/or what do you want to be? Learning to love yourself is a process and this book takes you on that necessary journey.

Love her
She has been around forever and I discovered her five years ago after I had cancer. A therapist recommended I get some of her books and cds to help me through everything. They are a breath of fresh air. The way she puts things really helps you deal with things and see them from a much more positive viewpoint. I currently have about four of her books and 4 cds in my car. I have also given it out as gifts to friends getting divorced or going through a rough time in life. She will change your life and speak to your soul.

Excellent! There is no better program on this subject.
I am a psychotherapist in Columbus, Ohio in private practice and I have been in the mental health field for almost twenty years. I have attended hundreds of seminars and trainings dealing with self-esteem and self-love. This program is by far the best, bar none. It is simple, clear, concise, and entertaining. Louise is a wonderful speaker. She also offers a post-religion metaphysical paradigm based on the goal of unconditional love that should be the gold standard for healthy spirituality in the new millenium. Thank you, Louise! You are a gift to the world, and I love you. Warmly, Craig Campbell, LISW, LICDC

Not what I expected
I love Louise Hay and all of her books. I should have looked at this a little closer. This is a recorded workshop with clapping of the audience in the background. I like listening to her things on audible as I fall asleep. I find this disturbing. Again this is my own fault by not really looking into what this is.

Listened to this over and over.
My husband and I listened to this over and over and then have given it to a friend. It really is worth getting if you judge yourself harshly. Another really good buy that you can get on Amazon is the book The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. MY husband, myself, and my daughter-in-law have read this book. We intend to keep on rereading it because it is the best explanation of how we view ourselves and others and how to create new thought patterns and behaviors. It makes life so much more enjoyable.

"I Love and Accept Myself deeply and sincerely."
This teaching to love oneself has been so healing for me. If you are looking for encouragement to learn how to heal your mind, your emotions, and even your body, Louise Hay offers a wonderful teaching on self-compassion which is a key to this healing. The main thing that I take away from her teachings is the simple phrase: "I love and accept myself deeply and sincerely." It has become my mantra to counteract shame-based messages. If you have a difficult time loving yourself, you might want to consider giving yourself the gift of this teaching.

Love Louise
I wish I could love myself as much as I love listening to Louise!Just when you think you had your past conquered/forgiven/accepted and blessed, BAM! some new trauma sets you back. You question yourself, you think gosh where did all that self work go? You realize you are again criticizing yourself, blaming yourself, feeling like a little kid done wrong again. It's life confronting you again, challenging you.Time for Louise! I listen to her tapes over and over. Rotate my library and listen some more. Practice. They should teach Loiuse Hay in schools.
