I bought this to help with my plantar plate tear. Not only is it comfortable but after my foot surgery which repaired the plantar plate and then had the joint of my second toe fused together with a steel rod implanted in it. After my surgery I have been having difficulties with mitigating the swelling in my fire and toe. I’ve tried compression socks even toe compression socks and the one thing that has actually helped is the bio skin strap and toe strap. They send a spare toe strap so I have been either stacking two toe straps on one toe or wearing them at the same time on two different toes. I have found significant reduction in post surgery swelling when I am wearing the bio skin.You do have to be careful when putting it on to ensure that the edges do not roll but that is a simple thing to do. The benefits far out weight any challenges that I have had with it. It is much more painful when I do not wear it.

I had a problem with the size of the toe wrap. It was too big and therefore wrapped around almost twice, making it uncomfortable. The idea is good but after wearing a few times, the fabric started to slacken

After trying 5 other products to help with a hammer toe, this straightener actually works! It's very slim fitting, so you can comfortably wear it inside your shoes. I just wear it at night and saw results in just 3 weeks.

The main wrap around he foot just slips too easily. In just a few minutes it slipped and it was not pulling my toe down any more. For my 8 1/2 feet, the toe strap is too long, so I cannot get the pull I need unless I try to put the main wrap up higher, and then it slips down. If I make it super tight to try to stop the slipping, it's really uncomfortable, and it still eventually slips in an hour or so anyway. In addition, if I wrap just one toe, the sharp edge of the velcro digs in to my big toe. I solved that by wrapping two toes instead. After two days of this, I went back to taping.

I was suggested to use the Bioskin by my podiatrist for a torn Plantar Plate. I got the strap from his office and immediately noticed it was more comfortable than the tape I was doing. I saw the same thing here on Amazon and ordered one. I understand the contradictory reviews.The one from my Dr office is thin, by the second day it was rolling up and stretched out. The toe strap was barely functional. The whole thing was slipping off my foot over the day.Today I received my Amazon ordered one and there is a HUGE difference in materials. This one is thicker with stitched edges. The material stretches in a different direction. Feels much sturdier. The toe strap is actually giving tension on my toe. It isn't as comfortable as the first but it isn't uncomfortable.Excited to see the difference when I give them their first all day test tomorrow. My first one is about worthless already and I got it 2 days ago.

I bought this per my surgeon's request to help keep hammer toe down post-surgically. I tried it twice but the Velcro on the toe piece cuts into other toes and is extremely uncomfortable. And it fell off my toe repeatedly... I have really short toes. I accomplished the same goal with a strip of KT Tape wrapped around my toe, meeting on the bottom and then run down the bottom of my foot, about 4 inches. No discomfort, stayed for a couple of days before I pulled it off. Much cheaper, much more comfortable, and as a result, more effective.

The price for this item is definitely too expensive for what it is AND I see that even after so many other reviews were submitted that also stated the pricing was too high, the company actually RAISED their price on the product. This is an example of why real people can often not afford to get the care they need. The strap does its job, but is NOT good value for the money paid. I will not be supporting this company again in future through any of their product purchases unless I see them reduce the price for this item to a reasonable cost.

Not sure if I have a Mortons neuroma or a plantar plate tear, but my forefoot hurts. Per YouTube, I've been strapping my toes with tape with some success to achieve what this product does with velcro. It feels great, easy to use.I thought the tape was fine, but I broke down and got this. Why I waited, I'm not sure. This is fabulous!! Hoping another month of conservative treatment will significantly reduce my discomfort.
