Someone was borrowing water from our outdoor spigot. This simple plastic hinge has just enough space in the back for the spigot pipe to fit into while keeping the faucet itself locked away! The lock comes with two keys, just in case! :)

I appreciated the ease with which this device installs. It's inexpensive but will keep most people away from. the faucet.

It locks your spigot like any of the other locks you need a key to properly open it or you can use a tool and take it off. I had somebody go into my water and take a lot where I was questioned by the water company. I put up, very expensive spots and rusted clothes and I had to have somebody remove them with tools. I think the best purpose for this item is to know that no one can go in without the key if it’s opened that means someone went in for the price, that’s what I need .

We had some roofers working in our development and I discovered that they were using my water (and electricity) without my knowledge or consent, for hosing debris (and powering their machines as well as charging their cell phones). I decided to lock all the electrical outlets as well as 2 spigots (front and back). This item is the perfect solution, fits over the spigot, comes with the lock and the key. I bought two of them and the keys are not the same, which is good. I guess if somebody really wanted to, they could cut the locks off, but I'm sure that will not happen. So this way, I don't have to worry about people using my water and running up my bill when I'm not around. I should have done this a long time ago.

Bought this to cover an outdoor gas line for my grill after my kids were drawn to this like a magnet. It's made out of plastic but that is plenty good to keep the little hands away from turning on and you forgetting about it for days! Highly recommend.

Wasn’t able to install these for a month as was having work done in that area. Went to put one on and realizes these are only made for very small handles not the standard. Then realized my window for return was over so stuck with this Useless lock set.Just wanted anyone ordering to know.
