Better than expected. Very thick plastic. Like others say, build a support for it. The milk crate idea sounds perfect. I didn't have one so I built a 2x4 wood platform for it. Just a square for the lip of the mold to rest on and then the base has a cross board so the the tip of the mold rests on it. Prevents the weight of the concrete from causing the mold to sag and elongate, which in turn causes the base to come out slightly smaller. Use Pam for easy application or any type oil can be wiped or painted on before EACH use.

Works great. Use a watery mix and spray with PAM cooking spray right before you pour cement mix in it for clean removal. I used a milk crate to support it. Lay the mold on milk crate on flat surface and pour your mix. Let sit for 2 days indoors and came out clean. IMPORTANT! If you don't build a 1-2" box around the mold it will be about 1" smaller than advertised.

The product arrived on time and is of decent quality, however the dimensions are misleading. The 17.71 inches is the outside or overall dimension. The dimensions of the molded cap is 15.5 inches. It still works for my project but I think it would have looked better on my brick pillars had the molds produced caps that were 17.71 inches.
