Very nice, versatile tool
This tool comes in a good quality hard plastic case. The tool itself is well made, but will need some degreasing, since it comes covered in oil to protect it. I used isopropyl alcohol and tissues to wipe it down (take a photo and then disassemble it to clean it; the photo will help to put it back together again). The instructions are in Chinese, so I've attached a photo showing an English explanation of the key controls on it. Basically, there is a thumbscrew on the rear which rotates the angle of the tool. Make sure that the dial is unlocked first though, and that thumbscrew is on the front. Just follow the annotated photo. The tool can be reconfigured to support a wide variety of angles, as can be seen from the photos from the instruction sheet. If you've not used a vernier scale before, it is basically just to provide finer granularity in your measurements. Once you have set an angle, look to see where the zero is on the vernier scale, and read off the angle in degrees on the main scale. That's the crude measurement. Next, look to see where any line on the vernier scale aligns with any line on the main scale. Read off the minutes (0-60). The minutes are basically 1/60th of a degree, so 15 minutes is a quarter of a degree, and 30 minutes is half a degree and so on.In the example in the photo, the zero on the vernier is just past 21 degrees on the main scale, and the position at which the lines on both scales seem to align is at the 28 or 30 minute mark, which means the final angle is 21 degrees and 28 minutes or so, i.e. just under 21 and a half degrees.I think the tool is great, and worth the money.

You need to have a reasonable knowledge of engineering measuring tools.
Does the job at a great price
