Q: If I use this pen can I paint over it with water colours and it not blend and bleed into the paint?

I have just done the experiment. If you let it dry for a minute or so, it seems permanent & won't drag up. When wet it is fully blend-able with water. I think it's a water based acrylic ink.

Q: does this product take a special kind of ink for brushes or will standard black writing ink cartridges work instead?

I read about a bit and bought a bottle of fountain pen ink. Had no issues so far with that. 1/3ml food syringe with a little metal nozzle from a vaping store is perfect for filling the cartridge back up.

Q: Do you sell the refills separately?

It's just ink so it'd probably work for small projects that would be kept indoors.
