This product would benefit greatly if it had incremental height settings. At the moment it’s flat or nearly flat and that’s it. Apart from that it’s a great product that would also benefit from having a selection of thread fittings to suit different uses such as mic stand 5/8 etc.

Nice little table top tripod. Made of aluminum and abs plastic. Build quality is good like with all manfrotto products. And you get 5 year warranty when you register your product which is nice as well.I put my canon 7D mk2 with battery grip and 2 batteries in it and an Arca Swiss L-bracket on this tripod with no issues. I have to mention that the camera stays upright. So didn't mount it on an angle because I know it will get unstable that way. Just wanted to see if it could support the weight and it did with no issues. I know it's not rated for this weight so I'm not using it for that. But good to know just in case.Operation is simple and the leg extensions is more for extra stability than gaining height because it doesn't gain much height when fully extended.I've seen some videos on YouTube about this product and one guy said you can just pull and extend the legs. Although this works, I wouldn't recommend it because the legs are plastic and run over an aluminium rail attached to the ball head. So things can wear out faster that way. Also the manual says to push the button when extending it.The ball head is very beefy and sturdy and locks in place very well. As with everything made of soft metals. Don't crank it down, tight is tight and holds very well. Cranking it down can leave marks over time on the ball inside the head and that might affect any micro adjustments you want to make in the future.

Although this table tripod is a bit pricer compared to others, the higher price is worth it in my opinion. Works well out of the box and can hold heavy cameras. I am using an S5II with a cage and an Atomos Recorder and it holds this heavy setup with no problem. The ball head is also very nice for different positions.
