Know what you're buying!
This is a great product if you need to increase your protein intake but can't eat chicken breast or salmon for every meal. I'd say it's also economical as protein amount for money. Great as an addition to meals but not to beverages, and does not really work great as a meal substitute if you're trying to lose weight (not as filling as whey). Caused me no bloating or GI discomfort, which I usually encounter with whey. It's important you know it's unflavoured but not flavourless.. it has a slight nutty flavor, but this is very mild and rather easy to mask. You can add it to virtually any meal and it wouldn't affect the taste too much. If you add it to beverages, the taste might be okay-ish but the texture becomes somewhat unpleasant. I tried adding a tablespoon to my latte: it tasted similar to soy/oat milk but the texture was a little grainy and not so great, even though I used a blender. I added a little sugar which made it taste rather good. Don't try and make a protein shake out of it unless you want to add some flavouring or cocoa powder, and some sweetener.

Useful Substitute
I am not a big meat eater and would struggle to meet my protein requirement on a daily basis and this makes things easier. I love smoothies, so I tried it as a smoothie with some almond milk, natural yoghurt, nut butter, agave syrup, and strawberries/blueberries. Worked perfectly fine with 10g of powder. I can taste the powder, which does have a characteristic taste (reminds me of the edible wafer type things you got in church), it's not overpowering nor does it bother me. It does taste more powdery than normal but that is to be expected. I taste it less in soup. The fact that it is unflavoured, and I can use it where I want and how I want is great. This broadens its applicability and I will continue trying out new ways of using it. Might even try it in my bread, see if I can substitute some of the flour for this.Edit: I did try it in bread: ~50g instead of flour for a ~500g flour loaf. It is possible if you really want to, be prepared to make adjustments to other quantities though until you have the right consistency; plus kneading time went up considerably (I used a mixer). It is not easy to work with. Nobody tasted or noted any difference in the resulting loaf.

Does exactly what it says on the bag.
I have used this soy protein isolate for quite a while. I have not yet written a review as I am reluctant to promote what I imagine is a highly processed product, but after reading some of the negative reviews regarding taste and lumps I thought I would. It is a protein powder. It is meant to be taken for its ability to add protein in density above and beyond normal unprocessed foods. It's purpose is not to taste like Haagen daz. If you want to feel good, eat some doughnuts or something. Some reviewers really do need to man up.I find it a largely taste neutral product. It has no strong taste that takes enormous amounts of something else to disguise. It is not disgusting. I mix it in a blender which gets rid of the lumps. It you want a disproportionate unnatural amount of protein in one sitting and you want no animal products then this will do the trick. Blend it in soy milk with banana and or cacao. I cook porridge oats and mix it in after cooking. I have made homemade protein bars with it.I take one star off my rating because I would like to see some sort of evidence that this product is not genetically modified rather than just a claim. And also it would be better if it was organic and then we would know it had not been saturated with pesticides. One good thing is it does not spike blood glucose. In fact, I do a lot of postprandial (after eating) blood glucose testing. I am not diabetic, but there is a lot of evidence that sustained and regular high postprandial blood glucose causes infllammation and predict heart disease and diabetes later in life. By the time a GP or consultant makes a diagnosis the postprandials have probably been high for years or decades and significant irreversible damage has been done. High or sustained postprandial glucose is a heads up while there is still time to do something about it. Protein, in studies and my own experience, especially soy protein powder or silken tofu in blended soups significantly lessen the glucose spike when eaten with a high carb meal.EDIT: I can't believe the price of this has gone from £14 in 2019 to £27 in 2022.

Excellent.
I tried several soy protein products and this is by far the best. I will buy this brand from now on. The taste is reasonably neutral, it mixes VERY easily (with other products I always had to use a blender), just add water or soy milk, mix with a spoon and your instant shake is ready to go. When I have more time I blend in a spoon of cocoa powder, or a banana, or any other fruit. It's very easy to digest too. As in results I can only say that I use it mainly as a meal substitute or during fitness and endurance training in conjunction with maltodextrin as a recovery and/or energy drink and at that it works very well. Anyway, it's 90% proteins so I'd imagine it's perfectly OK for mass-building too. Recommended!

Yummy when well combined and USEFUL!
Waouh! I thank God for this protein powder! I was fearing it would not be tasty because of some comments but I must say that I like it so much! This is my recipe: natural yoghurt, water, soya powder, stevia as sweetener and Cannella. I mix everything in a good blender bottle(it is really dificult to blend this protein powder without some help) and VOILA'! So delicious! I use it to increase my muscles, but its too early to say anything. I would use it all the same because not only do I find it delicious, but it also reduces hunger and it helps me as a female in the ormonal side: Less bloating in post ovulation etc.

Great product but shelf life is short
I've used this protein blend loads before, tastes great, and can be blended into most things. I've put a lower score this time as this is the first time I've been sent an order with a 3 month expiry on it. All other times I've ordered, there's been at least a 10-11 months before it expires. I'm going to really struggle to use this quantity up before it expires.
