Lock & Lock HPL823O3 Fresh storage box, 3x870

After years of disappointment with other brands (poor sealing, limited life) I switched to these. Robust, will not leak* (as long as you've closed the lid properly and the sealing strip is correctly seated - so always make a check), survive physical abuse, cope with automatic dishwashing (domestic) and light microwave use. Fine in the freezer***Not tested at aircraft cabin altitude**As per the supplied documentation - let the container warm up for a while. If you try to open immediately after taking out from the deep freeze there is a chance the sealing clips will snap off. Polypropylene goes through a, reversible, rubber-glass transition between 0 and -20°C - if I recall my materials science lectures correctly.

I received these three food storage boxes in very quick time. they are of a reasonable size for taking to work, iv had sandwiches in them but also had a chilli and a chicken salad that I made and it holds a comfortable lunchtime portion. the material is of a sturdy nature and I especially like the four click locks, one on each side of the box. I had avocado in there last week and it usually starts to brown quite quickly, but I was shocked that after a good 5 hours in the container the avocado was still green and fresh. it clearly has a good seal, being kept tightly shut by the four locks. all in all I cant think of a bad word to say about these food containers. highly recommend to anyone looking for some storage for lunch. great product.

Terrific boxes these Lock n Lock boxes, I am assuming they are made by the Really Useful Box Company as I see they have them on their website, in which case I am not surprised at how good and sturdy they are and well priced too as I find all their boxes and drawer units are great and worth every penny I have paid. The sizes are well thought out and you can use them for all manner of things other than food, I am actually using these to store my metal clay as they are air tight and so help to preserve it. I will no doubt buy some more for others things along the way. I highly recommend them!

this is really good value for money. No leakage, nice seal and easy to wash.Nothing out of ordinary, really recommend for someone who doesn't have any casseroles in their homes.Good starter pack as they say

We have used various brands previously, but these are manufactured to a very good standard and now we wouldn't buy any other brand. Sturdy, seal well and wash easily in hot soapy water. This size fits well into our fridge as we can use them one on top of another which makes good use of the space on the shelves.

Oh how glad I am that I can once again purchase this size lock n lock .If it looks like the real thing but does not have the name lock n lock don't buy, only this brand offers the original robust and reliable side clips that hold in the moisture and freshness allowing reuse over and over again without breaking.Easy to clean freezer safe and microwave oven safe.Save money purchase original product and save time and money in the long term.

I've bought several sets of these containers and always find new uses for them, and not just for food. They are perfectly air and water tight, light, sturdy, and not too expensive. Help keep space tidy in closets, drawers. Same principle as containers on a ship really. Transparent so you can always see what is inside. Will be getting more for sure.

During these times we’ve tried not to waste any food and these boxes are the perfect size to store/freeze a meal for 2.......I’ve bought a dozen of them! They stack well too either in the cupboard or freezer. Great value and well made
