Solid choice for anyone serious about their fitness routine
Optimum Nutrition's Micronised Creatine Powder is marketed as a pure, effective supplement designed to support muscle power and enhance performance during high-intensity exercise. Known for its reputation in the fitness industry, Optimum Nutrition delivers a micronised form of creatine monohydrate, which is aimed at improving absorption and solubility. Below is an honest review of this product, focusing on its pros, cons, and overall effectiveness. What’s Great:100% Pure Creatine Monohydrate: One of the standout features of this creatine powder is its purity. It contains only 100% creatine monohydrate, without any added fillers, sugars, or artificial ingredients. For those who want a clean, straightforward creatine supplement with no unnecessary additives, this is a great option.Micronised for Better Absorption: The micronised version of creatine is designed to improve the solubility and absorption rate of the powder. Smaller particles mean the creatine dissolves more easily in water or shakes, and the body can absorb it more effectively. This is a significant advantage over regular creatine monohydrate, which can sometimes be gritty or slow to absorb.Unflavoured: The unflavoured nature of the powder means that it can be easily mixed into any drink, whether it’s your post-workout shake, a smoothie, or just plain water. If you prefer to stick to your own flavours or already use flavoured protein powder, the unflavoured option avoids any potential taste clashes.High Servings Count (93 Servings): The 317g tub contains 93 servings, which is a great value for money, especially considering that a typical serving size is only 3.5g. This makes it a cost-effective option for those who take creatine regularly and want to keep their supplement routine consistent without needing to repurchase frequently.Supports Performance and Muscle Power: Creatine is one of the most scientifically-backed supplements for improving performance in high-intensity activities like weightlifting, sprinting, and sports. This product delivers on that promise by providing an adequate dose of creatine monohydrate, which has been shown to help increase muscle power, strength, and endurance. What Could Be Improved:Potential for Stomach Discomfort: Some users may experience mild stomach discomfort or bloating when taking creatine, especially if they don’t drink enough water or take the creatine on an empty stomach. While this is not unique to this particular product, it is something to be mindful of. Staying well-hydrated and taking the supplement with food can help reduce these effects.Micronisation Doesn’t Completely Eliminate Grit: While the micronisation process improves the solubility of the creatine, it doesn’t completely eliminate the gritty texture that is often associated with creatine powder. It dissolves better than standard creatine monohydrate, but you may still notice some residue at the bottom of your drink if you don’t mix it thoroughly. No Additional Performance-Boosting Ingredients: While creatine is highly effective on its own, some might find the lack of additional performance-boosting ingredients such as electrolytes or amino acids a downside. Other creatine blends on the market often include these extras to enhance hydration and recovery, but Optimum Nutrition’s product sticks to a pure creatine formula.Serving Size Requires Consistency: As with any creatine supplement, achieving the desired results requires consistent use over a period of time. While creatine is effective, it’s important to stick with the recommended serving size (3.5g per day) for optimal results. Some may forget to keep up with daily supplementation or might be unsure about the loading phase, which can impact effectiveness if not used correctly.Noteworthy Observations:Ideal for Athletes and Bodybuilders: Creatine is particularly popular among athletes, bodybuilders, and anyone engaged in high-intensity exercise. If you're involved in resistance training, sprints, or activities requiring bursts of energy, this supplement can help maximise your performance, power output, and muscle recovery.Easy to Stack with Other Supplements: Because it’s unflavoured, this creatine powder is easy to stack with other supplements. Whether you’re using protein powder, BCAAs, or pre-workout mixes, you can simply add the creatine to your routine without worrying about conflicting flavours or textures.Good for Long-Term Use: Creatine has been shown to be safe for long-term use when taken in the recommended dosages, so you can use this product consistently without concern. Whether you're cycling creatine or using it continuously, the large tub size ensures you'll have enough to last for months.Verdict:Optimum Nutrition Micronised Creatine Powder offers a straightforward, effective, and high-quality creatine supplement for those looking to enhance their workout performance and muscle power. The 100% pure creatine monohydrate formula is easy to mix, and the micronised version helps improve solubility and absorption compared to regular creatine. While there may be minor issues with grit and potential stomach discomfort for some, the overall value of 93 servings and the clean, unflavoured nature of the powder make it a solid choice for anyone serious about their fitness routine. If you’re looking for a no-frills, high-quality creatine supplement, this product delivers what it promises without any unnecessary extras. It’s a cost-effective, reliable choice for those wanting to boost their training performance over time.

Nice
Was fan Optimum Nutrition for long time. Very good size of container and value for money. But you need small container if you travel so you dont have to take all 600 grams with you

The scoop is included
Just reading some reviews saying the scoop isn't included, I thought the same after opening the tub but put a table spoons in to dig it out from the powder, me some are to quick to review, anyway this is my first purchase of creatine and look forward to seeing the results .

Solid creatine — mixes well, great value
This is a solid creatine powder that does exactly what it says. The powder came fully sealed, the texture is light and fine, and it mixes easily in water with a shaker. There’s still a slightly gritty texture, as expected with most creatine monohydrates, but nothing extreme or off-putting.As much as creatine is good for water retention in the muscles, I will also be taking it for the increased focus. 186 servings will last a while and I will most likely be buying more when its nearly finished.
