Plain Unpainted Wooden Tool Box DIY Storage Chest with Handles/ Toy Box 30x 20x 14cm

I've bought this box as an aromatherapy oils box. Its thick, very sturdy and is a great size for the price. It has a well hinged lid and has a raw finish. With an engraving pen, I've put a pattern on the lid then waxed it with a pure bees wax and it looks great. I've bought felt to line it so the bottles of oil are cushioned and make less noise. Very happy indeed with this purchase.

Excellent size holds all my *bits on my table to keep things neat, my meds, cat treats, scissors, manicure set ... oh and my TV remote lol

A good looking, sturdy box. Only complaint is that some of the wood was quite rough which wasn't apparent until I started to varnish it and the finish wasn't even across the whole box. Still pretty good value for money.

Received the box on time and well packaged. To be honest I wasn't expecting much for the money, but I only wanted it for my shoe cleaning stuff.The box is reasonably well made, after a bit of sanding, some medium oak varnish, a couple of latches and a handle I am really pleased.If you expect top quality wood don't but for the money you can't buy better.

Just what I needed for the vision I had in my head. I removed the stapled-on ribbon that serves to hold the lid open and added my own self-locking hinges - I also removed the hinges that came with the box which weren't screwed on but rather they were attached by sprigs so needed to be pried out. I didn't really care about any of that as I was going to change everything anyway and just wanted a sturdy box to place my shoe and boot polishing accessories in and this fitted the bill perfectly.

a little bit unfinished and rough around the edges but suitable for the project i need it for. ideal for staining or painting, struggling slightly with the price i have paid but couldn't find an alternative. the ribbon hinge holding the lid is not very strong and as this is for a child i don't hold much hope that it will last so am prepared for that. in my opinion not quite deep enough to be used as a christmas eve box as i would want space for jammies, slippers and maybe a book and a few treats; it wouldn't be big enough for that. perfect for storing photos or as a memory box for keepsakes

Was exactly what I was looking for.Gave it a very light sand and light coating of lacquer to seal the surface as it’s bare wood.Could have left it bare as it was well finished but as it was a gift box for someone the lacquered surface gave it a nice shine
