Plastic syringes are made sterile with radiation not with heat. Going against it would expose towards severe infections especially gas forming organism which are life threading with 85% mortality rate. Use syringes from pack and discard them according to health codes

Are these for oral use?

Don't see why not, they are individually wrapped, sterile, and non-toxic. We used them to feed formula to kittens, but could be used to give oral medication.
