Wahl Arco Cordless Clipper

I`ve used this make before, so thought I would get another set. The clippers themselves are good, but the battery only lasts about half an hour, and takes ages to charge. I`ve tried the battery in another charger and the same thing happens. Also tried different battery in this charger, and it takes ages to charge and runs out quickly. Just to mention for health and safety, the other battery I tried is exactly the same specification

I had been looking around for some clippers for sometime and wanted to be sure to find a good pair that did not catch in the fur, overheat or have trailing wires.I am so pleased with this product being cordless grooming is easy and you have no cord trailing around you. The cut is great I have a shih itzu and it handles the coat well, but you do need to clean out the cutter from fur everynow and then as it can get a bit clogged with a little fluff after a bit of use. The battery lasts well and you can have one on hand to replace if you are using for a long time. However, I have found that I have not needed to during a groom. Cut is clean and quick, and not to noisy to upset the dog.Very please with my purchase.

Bought this product 4-5 years ago but sadly dropped it whilst grooming my Westie. Purchased another clipper which had excellent feedback however this was dreadful so I went back to the Moser. Quiet when grooming and gives an all round tidy cut. Only negative for me is it does not have a storage bag so I have to keep it in the box and I would have thought for the price of this product a storage bag should be provided.

I have been using an Andis for well over 10 years (and still giving good service) but enjoy the convenience of using a cordless clipper on my 3 miniature schnauzers. While the blade on the Moser can be adjusted, I still use the Andis and a 7F blade on the body because I don't seem able to get the same finish using the Moser. It is also noisier and the boys are not very happy when I clip around their ears, but given time, they will be more accepting.The Moser is good quality, comes with an extra battery and charging base as well as a selection of clip-on plastic blade attachments (which I do not need for my dogs)..One charge lasts a long time. The blade is very sharp and is adjustable - move the lever to get the length of cut you want. I find that useful for trimming in between the dogs' toes. To keep the clipper in good working order, you need to clean the blade in proprietary oil after every use.

Excellent piece of kit. Bought as replacement for much more expensive brand that failed prematurely and wasn't worth fixing.Powerful enough to do our two schnauzers. Batteries last well. no overheating or excessive noise.Light and soooo much easier to use due being cordless.Don't know how it would fair for heavier commercial use, but for us, clipping every couple of months - it's great.The clipper sits on a rather precarious holder which I have been concerned of knocking off when not in use.The cleaning brush is a bit too stiff to be effective (so I use the one from my now defunct clippers.Other than that - recommended

I have brought two of these and both times the little attachment combs have been damaged saying that its a neat little shaver but attachments need to be stronger

Very good service. First set lost by courier but the action taken to send a new pair and the communication from the buyer was excellent. Product is superb. lots of battery life. Very quiet and certainly effective. Easy to follow the set up instructions. Altogether, excellent purchase for a good price.

Light weight, strong powered, easily maneuvered, with interchangeable plastic combs; an absolute must for dog groomers. I can shave 5 Scottie Dogs and a Standard Poodle in a quarter of the time than my two Oster A5's, which over heat within 5 minutes making shaving my dogs a long and heavy process changing back and forth from one clipper to the other. I am so glad Moser was recommended to me by my Poodle Groomer friends, who also recommended I bin my Oster's; good advice!
