Compact, easy to setup blu ray player, do this before you put a disc in, excellent images and sound, fast remote response, excellent value and a trusted brand, l would recommend this player.

I purchased this BluRay player so that we can watch more recent Region 2 Region B BluRay discs which our old Sony BluRay player did not recognise - which was becoming an annoying habit. This is a brilliant piece of Kit and very well priced. Gives a superb picture and the graphics look amazing too. Well worth considering if you need an extra player or just need to get started. Recommeded.

My Sony Blueray player finally gave up after 10 years. I only watch discs a couple of times a year and so didn't want to spend too much money on a replacement. This is good value, easy to setup, delivers a decent quality picture and sound. It is small making it easy to place. The downsides don't really matter to me but may affect some. Firstly to obtain network services you need to connect it via a Cat5 cable. There is no WiFi. Secondly the interface is clunky and chunky, think Windows 98. This player has been around for quite a while. Finally the remote control has one issue, the Netflix button is located just above the up navigation button and it is very easy to catch it. However overall I would recommend this player to the occasional user. It would also be perfect for a caravan or motor home.

Moved to a new place, and I like watching films and series on Blu-ray so was in need of a player. This one was a good price from a known brand, and so far it works well indeed. The menu is simple and easy to navigate. It plays the film in Blu-ray quality as expected and there isn't any noise produced. Happy with the purchase.

Upgraded from DVD player and very good plays my DVD's too. Only disadvantage no wireless internet link so have to go back to Computer all the time but pleased I got it

Disappointed to say the least. The 4K DVD player arrived without any instructions, in fact, zero paperwork, Guarantees or otherwise. Amazon rep unable to answer why this was/is the case. Strongly suspect it was/is a returned item minus instructions. No HDMI cable, yet bought a second-hand Panasonic for another room, it had a new HDMI cable with it! The DVD player itself, for all the talk of excellence, won't play quite a number of our DVDs (The older model does). To say it's tetchy and limited is no exaggeration, an overpriced and hyped Blu-ray Disk player trading on what was perhaps the best makes around. Really ought to have returned it, but for the bother of doing so at this latitude.
