Very smooth cut - worth the money
Bought this recently to replace my Babyliss clipper that was starting to snag a bit and wasn't holding its charge - barely managing to get through even one hair cut.My girlfriend took it to my head today and I'm really surprised by how smooth it was - it doesn't pull and no matter how thick the hair was it seemed to glide through it easily. She also said it's very light but much easier to handle than the Babyliss so a thumbs up from her :)The motorised combs are probably a bit of a gimmick and for me the chances are I won't really need to use many of the settings as I just tend to go for a short back and sides - but having the options there certainly do no harm, and the displays do make the device look pretty snazzy :)Having come from a traditional hair clipper with standard barber grade combs I found what the lengths were for each barber comb (I use 2 and 3) and then added the settings to the memory (the clipper comes with 3 combs and allows 3 settings to be stored for each comb, a great time saver). As I wasn't sure how the the traditional barber grades would translate into mm I used slightly longer settings initially and then gradually reduced the lengths until I got it just right - I then saved these to memory ready for the next time.On the whole this is a really good clipper but being able to set your length settings by .1 of a mm increments thus giving 400 settings is probably a bit overkill and the motorised comb are a but gimmicky but still, they do a great job and cut through even thick hair like a knife through butter. Really great value for money and also looks really nice, with a good weight and the maintenance free titanium blades should ensure they stay sharp for many years. An excellent product!

Work great… hope these last as long as the first set!
Bought the first set during lockdown to restore some order to the hair.Just replaced them, only because they got dropped one too many times and the screen died. Won’t adjust anymore.Never skipped a beat in 5 years of monthly use and never went dull.I haven’t had to visit a barber in years, and fingers crossed these last just as long. The first set paid for themselves ten times over.

easy to use
I recently purchased the Philips hair trimmer and I have to say, I am extremely impressed with its performance. The trimmer is well-designed and easy to use, with a comfortable grip that makes it simple to maneuver around my head. The adjustable comb allows me to achieve the perfect length for my hair, and the precision blades ensure a clean and even cut every time.I appreciate the versatility of this trimmer, as it can be used for trimming both facial hair and head hair. The included attachments make it easy to switch between different lengths and styles, and I love that I can use it for everything from shaping my beard to trimming my hair.Another great feature is the cordless design of the trimmer, which allows for complete freedom of movement. The battery life is impressive, lasting for a long time on a single charge, so I don't have to worry about running out of power during a trimming session.Overall, I would highly recommend the Philips hair trimmer to anyone in need of a versatile and efficient grooming tool. The quality and performance of this trimmer are top-notch, and it has quickly become an essential part of my grooming routine. Whether you're looking to shape your beard, trim your hair, or both, this trimmer is sure to get the job done.

Modern multi length mens hair trimmer.
Top brand, well designed mens hair trimmer, easily charged and lasts at least an hour in constant use. Bought one at the start of the Covid Lockdown and as it has multi click in size variation comb guides, you simply click in the preferred length comb, set the digital length making sure to lock the length by holding the memory button (tip keep checking the memory is displaying the correct size as it is possible to accidently alter it) for which there are three. Make sure to keep the base of the clicked in comb to the scalp then simply glide it from back to front or reverse. Do a final redo all over and it should be neat. Then if shorter needed on sides then start at bottom and left up where you want it to blend in (take the length guide off to shave as such of course) Simple really. To sum up, found this so useful that have just bought this one as a 'spare' so no need to worry about being discontinued and found out spare diamond technology cutter replacements are quite expensive. Can only highly recommend it even around the £80 mark and if you see it cheaper still then grab it whilst you can, like I did for my spare one.

Swipe interface not working
Worked fine first few times maybe 6 months. But trying to set it with the swipe interface got worse and worse and taking minuets to get it set right then finally throw it away and got a remington.
