Bought this (size 2) not too long after coming back from Japan where drip coffee is very common, and seeing so many YouTube videos talking about plastic version of V60 dripper being better with heat retention and lightweight but tough to break.With the white Hario papers, and practicing with different method and recipes, am starting to get used to making drip coffee with coffee ground from fresh. Combined with the Hario drip assistant, it really makes consistent coffee.

I bought this v60 as I wanted to see what all the fuss is about. I already have stove top, aeropress, a coffee percolator and an espresso machine, but aside from the aeropress, the others can be fiddly or take longer.I went for the no2 size so I can do 2 cups at a time.This is now my go to coffee brewing device, it makes great coffee consistently, and I can really tell the difference and subtleties of the different beans I try.There is a technique, but there are plenty of videos and guides online to support.

Very clever update on the traditional cone. The ribs and open hole give much faster results without sacrificing taste or quality - a very clever bit of engineering.This does mean though that flat bottomed filters don’t work in this and similarly the filters for this don’t work in cones designed for a flat design.Great flavour, quick results - really good.This size is perfect for day to day making of a single mug. There are bigger sizes for more cups and also a smaller size that’s really good for travel.

they work well but start to craze in the plastic funnel even at 85 degre coffee after a month or two.

Great quality coffee brewer. Would recommend for anyone who is getting into speciality coffee as it is affordable and very versatile.

They have been fine in the dishwasher. Works as you would expect!
