Komodo Forest Terrain Orchid Bark Fine Chips, 6 Litre

I don't have any reptiles but I got this because I needed a bark chip medium to plant some exotic bulbs. This year I'm making my first attempt and growing cobra lilies and flame lilies. Each bulb goes into a mesh planting basket packed with these chips, in a pocket of sharp sand in a planter of well-draining soil, and hopefully they will provide stunning displays in the summer. The baskets will make them easy to lift and store in a dry place through the winter, ready for re-planting next year. It's a good size package that will last for plenty of plantings, light to handle and easy to store.

Bit steep I guess but the product is what you expect. However, it’s not exactly fine grade like it said.

The chips are quite small which is ideal for my strawberry planters that I purchased to put different plants in. The bark is a nice colour and will not over power the plants, but compliment them and hopefully cut down on the weeds. I would definitely buy again if not enough and recommend

Bought this on an open packet deal for reduced cost.Not a huge bag but enough to mix with coco for my gecko.

I think the over sized box it came in was a bit much.

I got this just to top up my garden bark covering as I can't go out to get big bags of bark. Neighbour's cat likes to poo on it so on behalf of the neighbours cat's rear end I give 5*

This has made a great ground covering for a school product of a forest ground scene for a jungle using small plastic animals and plastic foliage.This made it look a realistic forest.
