This stuff is very very very sticky. And solid, not squishy like foam. So measure your gaps first. I was trying to use it like foam. It's different. I might be able to use it somewhere else in the house tho....to stop furniture scratching the floor.Oh...i use it also to stop doors slamming!!

Seems to have made a difference in sound but was too thick for the side of the door, my fault.

I bought this to damp the noise of a modelrailway, placing it between the baseboard and frame (which is loft trusses, so prone to transferring the noise to the rooms below). It does a good job of reducing the noise transference.I’ve run trains with my toddler daughter fast asleep in the bedroom below.

Used on soundproofing wall project to connect sound boars with concrete floors so its part of items but result is fab, I'd say it helped a lot, so definitely would recommend.
