Nobody can't. You have to check it and decide to turn it back if it's not genuine or to wear it. But the number on its back is original.

Yes it’s 💯 percent real box , booklet etc . This is an old model now and there is a new one since but still a lovely watch

Does anyone know where to get the spring lugs for the watch (the springy things that keep the straps on)?

Internet. Recently bought some myself there is a specific name for them? This will make them easy to find. A complete new strap is very cheap better choice
