Cheap and easy
If you're looking for a cheap but effective string winder you could do a lot worse than this little gadget. It works perfectly, fit my guitar perfectly and made winding my new strings an absolute doddle.

Does the job
It was time for me to change the strings on my ukulele, and I'd watched various YouTube videos showing the process and in most of them winders were used. I'd read some bad reports of Jim Dunlop gear, but this was cheap and I thought I'd give it a go.It comes shrink-wrapped on a card, and there are no instructions but it's obvious how you use this. It's small enough for me to keep in my ukulele case alongside my tuner and capo, and it works well too, making changing strings a quick and easy process. I'm sure other winders are available but this one does the job well enough for me.

Does what it says.
It's a really great product at a cheap price!This is the first string winder I have ever bought so I was not expecting anything really.The product does what is says, winds the strings. It is also useful for getting the bridge pinsout of an acoustic guitar.Thumbs up from me!

Cheap string winder.
The winder works well enough, but the bridge pin remover won't remove stubborn pins and is now crumbling at the edges. At least it's soft enough not to damage the guitar.

Cheap Guitar head winder
Came next day. This was the first winder i have bought. Had three guitars to restring. Two electric, one acoustic.The winder was quite loose on the electric but still worked OK. The acoustic fit better which made me think it was built for acoustic guitar heads. Good quality winder for the price.

Speeds up re-stringing!!!
After around 18 years of manually re-stringing my electric guitars by hand I feel like an ABSOLUTE BOZO for not getting one of these earlier. Speeds up the re-stringing process to no end due to the speed that you can loosen the old strings to cut, then tighten the new ones. Because it's so quick and smooth it also helps keeping the strings neat as they tighten round the pegs.Product couldn't be easier to use, and should fit most electric/acoustic tuning keys. Only negative I can add is that - due to the winder being larger than the tuning keys - if you have a curved headstock (pictured) or oversised keys this will probably knock those parts if you're not careful.
