easy to follow with loads of ideas. Everything you need to know about wood firing at home. A Highly recommended read.

This book sets out the daunting task of building and firing a kiln with clear and mostly comprehensive directions and ideas. A bit of humour helps the fairly clear to-do lists get done. He starts with basic discussions of what a we're a doing here following through to finally closing down. The diagrams and photos integrate nicely, helping but not overwhelming. Useful bibliographies and list of suppliers and possible mentors.
