The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 30ml

I didn’t realise how much this was helping my problematic, uneven, temperamental 38 year old skin until I stopped using it. I ran out & kept forgetting to replace & within a few weeks my skin which had really started looking healthy & problem areas had cleared up had broke out in all the places it used to & I looked tired & grubby. It really settles down & gives the skin what it needs. I use with hylaronic acid & moisturiser during the day & then with the mandelic acid peel at night. After cleansing with la posay... whatever it’s called. I was quite confused by all the different potions at 1st so I contacted the ordinary & gave them insight into my skin, age & issues I kept suffering & they got back to me with a suggested regime & advice on how to introduce products etc. I’ve not used all of the suggested ones, I’d never have time in the day to apply them but I have found the ones I e chosen to be non on for my skin. I was actually at my whits end with the problems my skin gave me, to have them back was rubbish & silly of me to let happen but I won’t do it again. None of the products are overly expensive & the advice given was helpful so I wasn’t wasting money on things I thought I’d need or on something you shouldn’t use with certain products. This one shouldn’t be used with anything contains vitamin c for instance, it stops the components from working affectively. I’d recommend to give it a go, don’t expect overnight results as you read reviews of angry folk who expect to use it once & wake up with a complexion like glass, or are ploughing heaps of the stuff on & it’s not soaking in to the skin, you don’t need anymore than 2 drops or so & let it dry before applying your next step. Don’t stop using it when u run out. I like it

So... I wanted to give my review after some time of using the product as I feel that is when a true observation can be made. I have wanted to use The Ordinary products for a long while now and always put it off... I only wish I had started sooner! These products are phenomenal, nothing ‘ordinary‘ about them. I have oily skin that suffers from hyperpigmentation and use Niacinamide in the AM and paired this with Alpha Arbutin in the PM with Lactic Acid 2-3 times per week in the PM.My skin is glowing, literally glowing. This is the best skin I’ve had in years. I have had no new painful cystic breakouts and scarring is seriously visibly reduced. However, DO NOT buy this product without first researching all of The Ordinary’s line and find which ones work best for you and your skin. Every product is unique and this only works best if you find the solution that your skin will benefit from most!!Lots of negative reviews about packaging quality, but mine arrived in pristine condition and I have checked authenticity - these are 100% REAL. Only negative is that these products are considerably more expensive on Amazon than other big cosmetic retailers but hey, with next day, reliable Prime delivery I considered it worth the extra ££!!!

Works well with my skin, it moisturizes my face, giving it a smooth feel after use.

This product has been absolutely fantastic for me personally. In my late twenties I’ve started having painful acne all over my chin, the kind that hangs around for weeks and eventually marks the skin, but there’s been such a huge transformation since using this.I’ve been using twice a day, after cleansing and followed by a moisturiser, and within days the lumpy spots that were still lurking faded to almost nothing and the old dark marks brightened up completely.In addition to this my whole skin tone has improved now, and so much brighter and smoother. The consistency of this formula is also lightweight and quick drying so its easy to wear under makeup. I’m so pleased with how well it’s worked, and at about £6 it’s felt like an absolute steal after the money that I’ve spent over the years on expensive treatments that haven’t worked for me!

I do love the Ordinary products, cheap but good quality and always effective. This holds up to the rest of the range and I was happy to find it on Amazon. Living rurally it can be hard to find this brand in stores and the shipping on some of the stockist websites is pricy. Just check that its cheaper than online other retailers prior to ordering at the time.Will buy again.

I am a teen and I have small pimples on my forehead. I occasionally get small puss spots but I just pop them even though I know your not supposed to do that but I’ve found that if I pop them they just leave a dark spot and this serum has helped to get rid of those dark spots. It has also helped to sooth my skin and it gives you a Serbian glow. I have oily combination skin and this has really helped to decrease my spots. It has also helped with the dry area around the bottom of my nose. This can also treat spots in the eyebrows because it will not cause the hair to fall out.

This product came highly recommended however I'm not certain it's totally worth the hype? When I initially began to use it (day and night as instructed) I noticed a difference in my acne; it was less inflamed and didn't appear as angry. However, when I had used approximately half the bottle the results appeared to dimmer. I have struggled with acne since a very early teen and have used NUMEROUS products to try and help battle the issue. I have waited until the bottle was empty to write this review and I must say I'm not certain I will be purchasing another. My acne is particularly bad at the moment and this didn't seem to have any positive impact. If anything, it started to sting on application. Take from this what you will, as I said, many friends have recommended this product to me after seeing great results on their own skin however my oily, acne-prone skin didn't seem to reap the same benefits.
