Great idea as no one would ever know it’s there you need to check the thickness of the wall as just too deep for many internal walls I Put this in a thick stud wall it works well and is big enough for a passport and cash don’t think anyone would think it is anything but a socket shame the switches look very cheap

Storage is limited to smaller notes as it's tight with £10s and £20s so minus a star for that. In my modern house I'm limited again to an external wall as an internal wall isn't deep enough. I've not fitted it yet but installation looks as if it's going to be awkward (depends on the depth I have but I'd imagine I'm going to have to pack out the back to suit). It's quite heavy I'd of preferred more lightweight but better this than light and flimsy.I'll update when I've installed it.

Gave low stars because it doesn't fit inside stard 4" stud wall. Maybe my fault, I should have checked the measurements. For anyone buying this, you need at least 150mm depth (inside to inside) wall thickness to accept this. Also the faceplate is quite obviously not realistic, anyone who looks twice will see it looks out of place and investigate it, rip it out of the wall and have the belongings for themselves.I tried to swap a real socket face onto it but didn't fit. For my client it was a total waste of money. She tried lots and went full force and decided to have a 150kg safe fitted in the end. I still wonder what she has that warrants that level of protection, maybe part of her husband hehe

The media could not be loaded. Video shows everything.Key is basic, safe is a bit loose, because you can not seal it, but overall I still like it.

You'd never know this was anything other than an ordinary plug socket.(unless you tried plugging in something - lol). That said what more can be said.Sturdy Case with quality plug socket - Room enough to put small trinkets and papers in for safety.Probably more hastle knocking out brickwork to install and making good after than anything else, but thats to be expected. Make sure you install on a double brick wall or you'll be much closer to the neighbours than you'd like.

The socket face has a massive bow in it and it moves about when locked if you touch it. I didn t realize this was the case until I glued the box into position . Impossible to return the whole lot without chopping the box out of the wall. You live and learn.
