The product works perfectly
Easy to refurbish the key to my Avensis after it had completed 16yrs service. Good as new now!

Works perfectly for my 3-button Avensis key.
Two of the plastic buttons on my key fob had fallen out and the local key merchant wanted €160 to programme a new key. The rubber pad was very easy to fit. Once the key was open, the locating hole in the top right corner of the pad fitted over the small LED and the cover snaps back on with no problem - since the pad is thin (but strong). I inserted the battery for good measure. I didn't need the little buttons. Great, simple product!

Great for the price
Had no issues easy to install on my old broken key. Seems good quality so will probably last as long as needed

Fits differently (in a good way) to the original buttons
UPDATED 17.1.2021Second one I’ve ordered. The first one ordered over a year ago is still working perfectly. Highly recommended!—-I fitted this to a 2007 Toyota Yaris key - you may find this useful.Remove the tiny screw in the back of the key.Work your way around the key prising it apart. Bit of patience here, the grime and gunk of 13 years was holding the key together. Yuk.Once apart, the "sender unit" can be removed from the body of the key.On the reverse of the sender unit is a black rectangular cap. Carefully prise this off to reveal the battery. Change the battery and replace the black rectangular cap.The button don't fit inside the sender unit - unlike the originals. The original buttons can be simply prised out of the original sender unit with a small screwdriver. The new rubber mat, comprising buttons, is simply overlaid OVER THE TOP of the sender unit. Cut off the "boot release" button if your key doesn't need it. Then reassemble. In my opinion this design is better than the original. Because the buttons now press through the sender unit, rather than sitting inside it, you may feel you have to press the button a bit harder. But this has the advantage that the microswitch the rubber button hits is taking less impact. I'm hopeful that this means the microswitches live a lot longer!I'll be ordering again to replace on the spare key and also a family member's Toyota Corolla (2006) which I know has the same key.

Easy to fit and upgrade, total cost £15
As a microswitch had fallen off I was quoted £150 for a new fob. Thought it quicker and cheaper to DIY; irdered and arrived within a couple of weeks. It was very easy to replace the buttons but soldering the switch was a bit fiddly. Ordered a cheap soldering iron from Amazon. Total cost to fix £15, a nice saving of over £100 with an hour of work. Works as good as new with refurbished buttons and a new battery. My Toyota key fob has a new lease of life.

Did not fit without having to modify
Item fairly good only let down by having to modify the rubber button sleeve to fit the remote. You have to be very carefull in cutting to the correct shape to fit the remote.

Fixed my 3 button Toyota Key
I bought this kit to repair my wife's Toyota Avensis Key 2007 (3 button). One of the micro switches and button were missing and she could lock the car using fob.Originally I was going to solder in new micro switch but decided to very carefully take switch apart to replace missing bits. Very fiddly work which needs a steady hand. Took me 20 mins in total.Worked fantastic. Saved me hundreds of pounds. Highly recommend.
