DometicFreshJet 3 Series, Black, 15K BTU Standard Profile Mechanical Air Conditioner, Cool Only, 9600028601

This was a replacement for a 7 year old dometic rv air conditioner. Is was surprisingly plug and play so to speak. Easy to install. Works better than the old one and is quieter. The only issue is that I ordered a black one and received a white one. Not going to send it back over that but for the cost you would expect more care from the company that supplied it.

Pay attention to other reviews. I ordered a black unit and received a white one. AC was broken out the box.

This was truly plug and play for us. Had to use the coil ice probe off the old unit as this does not come with its own. No problem. Would recommend turning the fan setting from auto to low at night so the change in sound level doesn’t wake you up when it comes on.

The air conditioner is working fine, and it saved us some money ordering it online. Our air conditioner broke, it was one week late from promised delivery date, with no updates on delivery time. When they finally called to say it would be delivered, they said it would be from 8 to 5 with a call 30 min prior...no phone call. My husband called and they said it would be delivered that evening...never showed. Called the next morning and they said it was delivered to a wrong space at 830 the night before. My husband went to the address and the occupant said he told the driver he had the wrong place, and the driver told him, if noone picks it up in 24hrs, its yours....what kind of bologna is that. We missed our install time, because we missed our delivery, don't think I will order something like this from Amazon again.

This unit is awesome, everything Dometic promised in their description is accurate. I installed this unit in a 38’ 5th wheel as central air, was able to cool entire RV to 72 degrees without running second unit. It is so quiet you barely notice it running. The only down side is the shipping method (UPS) first unit was totally trashed, 2nd unit busted out frame 3rd unit arrived fully intact. Recommend you open bottom of box to check for damage in front of UPS DRIVER. You will notice there is no fragile markings at all on box.Overall I would recommend this unit for sure.
