LikasOriginal Papaya Skin Whitening Herbal Soap By Trinidad Cosmetics Laboratory - 135 Grams

I received this item yesterday...speedy delivery.....I used it last night & this morning so am only going by first impressions BUT this soap seems great! My skin feels extremely soft & with a slight feeling of tightness immediately after washing, & that was only around the nasal area, unlike the tightening all over my face from SebaMed PH face wash. The smell is subtle but nice, the bar itself is slightly larger than the average size soap & lathers quickly. I usually notice an oily shine on my skin around lunchtime & would combat that with extra face powder but today i have not had any shine at all, despite an active morning with my little one. It may be due to the 'lack of shine' on my skin but my fine lines are less noticeable also. As i write this review it's mid afternoon & my skin stills feels as soft, looks smooth & my makeup still in place. I had read on another review that this soap left a white residue on their skin, for me this is not the case. Next to the SebaMed brand i use, this is my new favorite soap (am using for whitening properties) & i've tried a lot due to my skin type. It's too soon to comment on the whitening properties but will update after further use.thought i should mention, when researching the benefits of this soap, i read that you are to lather soap on face & leave for 3-5 minutes before washing off.

First time using Lika soap. I must say on receving the soap, the box seemed ok . took the soap out it felt very waxy in texture and I became suscipous because from further research the box should have a reflective hologram if it is an authentic product. This did not!. Nevertheless, I thought let me use it and see. If tingled but felt so waxy and see through and something was telling me no . Anyway I tried it for a second time. Then I looked at the soap and a tail with tiny feet sticking out. In shock, I cut the soap open. i jumped! it was some black long insect.I got out the shower and contacted the company who sold it to me. They apologised and were happily to refund and send me another soap which I appreciated, but after this experience I declined and made a few suggestions.I intend on buying from a company that hold the hologram next time. Be careful there are fake soaps out there. I am not saying this was a fake there was no hologram on the box.

This soap is extremely drying and harsh on the skin. I left it on my skin for a short while before washing it off and it burnt my skin leaving burn marks!!! After a few weeks the burn marks went thank God!!! But it goes to show you just how strong this soap is. Leave it on until it tingles at your own peril! I have given it 1 star because I can't post this without raring it.

i have combination kind of skin. in summer i got acne and tried different things but nothing helped me.my sister recommend me this and i use only 3 days i noticed difference.can't comment about complexion but i would definitely recommend this.

my wife loved this product now her scars are so much less and the sking is smooth fast delivery! thanks....

The packaging wasn't as convincing as some reviews iv read, the soap is waxy and I haven't seen any improvements in skin or blemish tones, sure at £6 a soap bar the packaging and holograms would be more apparent, I'm not at all convinced that my purchase is the real product and definitely seems fake.
