It is an OK frame and relatively good value for the price. What I especially like is its purposeful aged gold look: there is some faux patina effect, especially visible on the bow and it is done quite well. You can either hang it on a wall or place it on a desk/table. Now as for the design, there are some issues that in my opinion deserve one star off: the hook for hanging the frame is positioned in such a way that if you were to use it, it would be visible (it is placed too high so it would show right behind the center of the bow detail, more so on a light color wall, perhaps negligible on a dark wall?). Next, the glass is GLUED to the frame (WHY, since there are two adjustable pieces in the back that will hold everything in place?) - the good news is that the glue is only visible from the back. I think it would be much easier if the glass could be removed (e.g.: you could use it to trace the shape when trimming a photo). The back is made of very thin and flimsy cardboard covered with velvet - you need to be quite careful so as not to damage it when replacing a photo. With all of that being said, I still like it; it goes well with the other gold picture frames, and the hook issue does not bother me because I find the frame works best on my end table. Good choice if you're looking for a small inexpensive frame in this kind of style.

This picture frame is very lovely and definitely looks better in person. Love the antique feel that it gives, while still being incredibly well priced. Very cute!

I attempted purchasing this gram two times and both times I went to open the back, it was closed so tightly and the back ripped right off.
