Ram upgrade for a mini pic - works perfectly

Memory upgrade for Apple Macbook Pro 2012 - fits pefectly and easy to install. Great upgrade for an older computer at a very good price for branded memory. I have ordered more for a Mac Mini!

Bought the wrong one first but this seems to be just fine, easy to install.

Took a few hours for it to work, trying various slots, in and out 20 times but eventually the imac recognised it and now works perfect.

Slightly trickier to fit in my particular computer, fits horizontally on the motherboard, instead of vertically. But works just fine, shows as 8 Gb all right. Bit disappointed as no noticeable performance improvement (as previously found with other computers)

Have owned and run the Kingston 8Gb (as an upgrade to the previous 2Gb provided inside my basic Acer ES-14 laptop as new) for over 18 months now. They have proven to be dependable and have given the rather sedate laptop a good, usable boost in performance.

I coupled this memory with a new 1TB SSD, to transform an old laptop into something that actually works and boots in a few seconds.

Is the exact one I needed for my system. Very fast delivery. Had it in my computer and running 3 hours before Amazon said it was shipped, 7 days before Amazon said I would receive it. Definitely a good supplier to deal with.

I have a Dell 11 3162 that I got in 2016, problem it had 32gb emmc.. It was really slow even after a clean windows install. Managed to find a Dell 3164 motherboard on ebay (PN: P75YT) that accepts DDR3L, this RAM was within its spec, I went out on a limb because some people said they bought other 8gb ram and it worked but I believe I saw dell list max ram as 4gb. So I purchased it swapped everything over, had to remove some plastic on the bottom of the casing to fit the SSD, clean installed windows and works flawlessly! Windows and Bios register 8GB RAM as well. So if anyone is interested in modding their Dell 3162 this is what you got to do. The PC is actually very usable now, I hate throwing old tech out, this helped revive it.

It's getting more difficult to find the correct memory that works with new Dell systems, rather than paying their exorbitant markup on RAM upgrades. This item works just fine with our new Dell Optiplex 7010 Plus computers. Installed as stand-alone single RAM chip in half of our PCs, and doubled up the stock 8GB chips in the other half of our new PCs.
