For something so simple: I didn't know I needed this, until I had it. Now I can't do without it.To cut a long story short, I got into eating mangos last year (2024) and started eating them on a regular basis. It meant I wanted to find an easier and less messy way to prepare the mango. My first mango cutter (different brand) did the trick initially, to a degree, but it broke easily, after a disagreement with a particularly tough mango.So, my research began, to find something that may last a little longer. It led me to find this Zyliss mango tool. I took the plunge and ordered it. There was a little trouble with the delivery, but that was more down to the item being sent by Royal Mail, rather than the usual Amazon Logistics. Anyway, I eventually received the item and haven't looked back since.This mango tool is really sharp and has cut every mango I have eaten perfectly since. It does everything that is described and makes preparing mangos really easy again. The tool is a good size and will cut, even the largest of mangos. The plastic base, which holds the mango can be used to remove the flesh from the skin, once you have sliced the mango, making both parts useful: a rare feature, for something that sells at an affordable price point.Overall, I would definitely recommend this mango tool, if you want something reliable and solid. The only thing I would say to be aware of is the blade. It is really sharp and because of the serrated element, it means cleaning the tool by hand, can result in tearing of dishcloths or towels and threads becoming caught up in the blade. The best way I have found, to clean this by hand is simply using a brush. It means you don't ruin any cleaning cloths or sponges and can keep the blade clean safely. It's a minor thing, because I would rather it was this sharp and functioned this way, than break, just because the Mango was tougher.

A very good, useful product. The only problem is that you do need a ‘perfect’ mango. Won’t cut underripe ones and overripe ones go a bit slushy. Having got the mango right, it’s perfect.

Very easy to use and clean, best recommendation is no sliced fingers!

I can't believe how long I've spent arguing with mangoes to end up with about 5 slivers to eat! I was looking for something to get better slices to dehydrate, and honestly this really does the trick. Probably more than I would have wanted to spend originally, but comparable items for cheaper don't have the extra scoop feature. Would definitely recommend as an item to make life easier!

Great mango cutter, really makes getting mango off of the stone very easy.

First time for me to use one and I found it very easy to use. The base held the mango and just pressed the blade downwards with steady pressure and it was done. Stone was removed. Plenty of fresh mango to eat. Really pleased with this product
